Daddy was sleeping soundly, and you were bored. It was about 2 in the morning and you just woke up.

You crawl out of your crib and look around your room. the door is closed, and you know you're too small to open the door, so you have to find something to do.
Eventually you settle on playing with some blocks. it entertains you for a little while, but you get bored again after a while. you walk over to your closet and decide to play dress-up. you have a box of dresses on your top shelf. normally daddy takes it down for you, but if you wake him up now he'll just put you back to bed. so you grab a bunch of stuffed animals and stack them up. you climb on the pile and reach for the box, but just as you're about to get it, the tower of stuffed animals falls over. you land on your back and just sit there, completely silent for a few seconds. you are feeling so many different emotions. shock, embarrassment, confusion. the only thing you can do is cry. you start sobbing and screaming. you want your daddy, but your back hurts so much that you can't get up.
Eventually daddy wakes up and comes into the room. You start sobbing louder when you see him. He picks you up and gently rocks you until you calm down. He lays you down and locks your crib. He lays down a blanket and a pillow to sleep on and gently kisses you goodnight.
