The Fall of Inventor

"Come on Avengers face me. I know you want to take me down."
"He's enticing us don't fall for it" cap says. Tony furious, clenches his fist and starts to get twitchy. Cap notices and tries to calm Tony Down. "Tony don't, remember what we said, we're a team."

Tony's anger continues to rise and Nigel smiles as he knows what will happen next. Tony gives in to his hate and he flys towards Nigel. Nigel masks up and flys away. Cap sighs and turns to General Ross and says "Ross, get some air support and try to clear the area. Things are going to get messy. Also make sure to secure the secret weapon."

"Aye, aye, Captain."

Tony chases Nigel throughout the city. "Hey Tony, you like my new suit. It is made up of nano technology this  time. I guess this means I'm a better Inventor than you." This makes Tony mad and as he tries to attack, but Nigel counters with a large hammer like fist from his newly nano tech suit. It knocks Tony down from the sky down to the ground. Nigel goes for another attack, but Tony dodges.

Nigel presses his attack using a barrage of weapons. Tony seeing his is outmatched retreats, Nigel quickly follows. The Task Force evacuate as many people out of the city possible. "Please evacuate, it's not safe. Please leave immediately, evacuate the area." Other Task Force agents try to shoot Nigel from the Sky. He hold his arm out and shoots tiny missiles towards them take them out.

He then proceeds to land, and use his superspeed to take out more Taks Force Agents. One Task Force agent takes a bazooka, and shoots it right at Nigel. It blows up right on him, but the smoke clears to show he has a protective force feild. He rushes over and crushes the bazooka and kills the agent with it. He then sees General Ross and grabs him by the throat. Ross takes a gun and shoots it directly at Nigels mask. No damage is done and Nigel snickers.

Before he can doing anything the Hulk shows up and knocks Nigel away. Hulk looks at General Ross and grunts. Nigel runs towards Hulk, but Hulk is able to move fast enough to see it coming and catches his fist. He then takes Nigel and swing him back and forth on the ground. Nigel then vibrates his body at extreme speeds to shake himself loose of the Hulk's grip.

Before he can recuperate he is attacked by Thor. Thor uses Mjölnir to summon lightning and strikes Nigel with it. Though Nigels protective field protects him from Thors attack. "You should've aimed for the head" as Nigel fires his arc reactor hitting thor. He then proceeds to form heavy hammer hands knocking Thor back into some buildings nearby.

Widow and Hawkeye shoot at Nigel with all they got, but to no avail. Cap joins in and throws his shield, but Nigel uses a repulsor to deflect it. "Is this the best you guys can do." Nigel then summons in a wave of micro bots as it engulfs the Avengers pushing them back.

The Task Force unleash a fury of firepower at Nigel holding him back. Then they all hear a sound as jets approaches as they fire their missiles. One missile hits a Skyscraper and it begins to tilt over as the base of the building breaks. Before Nigel can finish the Avengers off a Portal appears right above the toppling building.

From it a man flys out dressed in a spandex like suit. Following him a speedster in black with a touch of gold. Nigel looks and sees what appears to be another Godspeed. They both exchange glances as the other Godspeed runs on the fall Skyscraper through another portal by the flying man. Also right behind the two of them another Superman. A black Superman in a black suit but before he could fly through the portal it closes. He looks down and sees Nigel and flys towards him but Nigel quickly opens a portal of his own from his portal opener on his suit sending the black Superman to a random place somewhere in the multiverse.

Tony then flys in and tackles Nigel while he was off guard. He punches Nigel repeatedly but Nigel kicks him off irritated. "Enough of this. I'm going to finish you all off right now and then the world will know me for who I am, Inventor."

"I thought it was Godspeed" Tony says. "Godspeed was just a temporary alias to throw you off till I revealed my true self. Now that I have you all must be destroyed." But before Nigel could a familiar voice shouted "Wait, stop please." It was Nigel's Aunt Lucia. She walked towards him slowly seeing who he has become.

"What's she doing here" Widow asked. "She's the secret weapon. I told General Ross to get her and bring her here" Cap said.

"Aunty, you shouldn't be here."
"I came because they told me what happened to you and... I needed to see for myself. Why are you doing this? This isn't the way."

"Aunt Lucia, you don't understand why I'm doing this."

"Baby I do. I really do."

"No you don't. I'm doing this because law enforcement took away my parents. Law enforcement was Uncle Marcus' job and it got him killed. Law enforcement can't do their job effectively because they have corrupt government leaders on every level. My parents death is a day I will never forget. All because I was trying to bring peace to the world when I joined The Avengers. Well now I see that if you want a job done right, do it yourself."

"I beg you Nigel please, please stop. I loved you, I took care of you. You were my son. You are my son. If all our years together meant anything to you, do the right thing and stop now. Please, I love you."

"I can't. I love you too, but if you can't see things from my point of view then you're just another pawn in my way, and the names Inventor" as he rises in the air with his suit forming around him. General Ross then escorts Aunt Lucia away. "Alright Inventor, last chance. Surrender and come quietly or we throw everything we have at you" Cap says while every available Task Force agent surrounds Inventor. "Give me everything you got."

"Fire" General Ross says and they bombard Inventor with everything they got. The Avengers chime in and attack Inventor at once. Inventor then uses his micro bots and pummels all of them. Tony then uses a flash to blind Inventor and in that brief moment he places a miniature bomb that plants itself onto Inventors armor. He then places a mini force field on the ground which immediately activates surrounding Inventor.

Inventor looks to see that he is trapped. He uses his weapons to try and break free to no avail. "Looks like I'm still the best" Tony remarks. Tony and everyone else look and stare at Inventor as he stares back. "Sorry kid" Tony says. He pushes a button that activates the bomb. Inventor screams in pain as the force and heat of the explosion hit him as well as tossing him around. With that his armor begins glowing orange as he then explodes. "Ahhhhhh" Inventors voice echoes.

The force field gives way and everyone ducks for cover as the explosion bursts in all directions. Once it stops they look to see parts of Inventors armor falling from the sky all over the ground. They find the helmet laying on the ground and they stare at it. Then the faceplate falls off to reveal it empty.

With that everyone cheers to the defeat of Inventor. His Aunt Lucia is very sad that she could not save him, but she was happy to know the rest of the world was safe from him. A clean up begins as the world realizes that Inventor did have a point. Things needed to be changed.

The Avengers then go to the rebuilding of Washington D.C. and give an announcement to the world. "We have successfully defeated the assailant know as Godspeed who also known as Inventor. He is the man responsible for what has happened here today and has been identified as our latest member Nigel Moore. We can presume that he is dead and can do no further harm. What we do know is his motive was to bring peace due to the past trauma of his parents death. This has now opened our eyes as it should for every other person on this planet. We need to be better, so that we can bring about peace, and so that something like this will never happen again. With that, I declare this day the day we made world peace."

Tony holds up his hand with the peace symbol as does every person around the globe watching. Ironically Nigel did bring peace in a way to this earth Tony thinks to himself.
