I exhaled a large amount of breath as I remember that I have to walk past that  street where I can say the worst street I know for my entire life. I must say worst because how would I explain a fricking dark street with creepy silence! I would’ve pissed in my pants because the idea of that street is scaring the shit out of me. It was a peaceful night and a dark way to my apartment I can’t hear even a sound that I have think people in this area were asleep really very early than most people does.

I have to close my eyes when not so long walking I have finally reach my apartment. Even this apartment feels really spooky  in some cases. I fumble the key inside my bag and without looking back I opened my door then quickly slide inside slamming my door shut.

I heaved a deep sigh of relief when finally I was inside my apartment. I feel safe now. I took off my heels and my shirt, throwing it on my couch. My place is really hmm a mess. If only I have a roommate, she would’ve burn all these stuffs away but luckily for some reason, no one wants to be in the same room with me. Which is not my problem and I’m actually thankful for that.

“Maybe I should at least clean this mess.” I say to myself, suggesting it to other me or shall I say my imaginary twin.

I took my jeans off me because it feels hot, leaving me with only my old undies on. I started cleaning my apartment from living room to comfort room. Not a little while, I was done and I only need a good bath.

I was getting ready for my bedtime when I heard a loud knock on my door. Heck I was nervous, I am confused and I don’t have an idea who that might be. I don’t even know a single person here in this place! I slowly tiptoed my way to my door and take a peek in to the peephole. There was no one though. The nervousness and the fear I felt make me want to vomit. I walk away from the door but just three steps, I heard a knock again so I take a peek fir the second time. Relief washed over me when I saw a  woman just my age standing outside my door with something on her hand.

I was relieved and did an exhale before opening my door, wearing a friendly smile on my lips. She looked shocked and she instantly panicked but I laugh at her action and she blinked.

“Hi!” I said, giving her my radiant smile. I never know anyone in this place so this must be a good start for friendship.

She gave me a shy smile. “H-hi.” She stuttered at her first word. I stared at her as she stares at me too.

“Uhm, what can I help you?” I asked again. She looked down at her hand and that’s when I remember she brought something.

“I- I wanted to..Uh I wanted you to try my cookies. “ She blushed and it makes her look really cute. She’s adorable.

I smiled more when she looked at me. I grab the tupperware from her hold and opened it. I grab one of the chocolate cookies and bring it on my mouth. I took a bite and it’s amazing!

“Wow! This is really good! “ I look at her with adoration, she’s adorable for baking cookies this delicious!

She stared at my face for a moment before she swallowed hard then she looked down. “T-thank you!” she said quietly .

I am so rude for not letting her in my apartment so I offered her a coffee inside but she waved her hand saying she would like to but it’s already late. I understand though this neighborhood is really quiet.

“Thank you for this! This is very delicious!” I said to her, really glad that I have someone to talk to now.

“You’re welcome. “ Her voice sounds cute.

“Do you live far from here?”

She shakes her head and pointed a door just two doors from my apartment.

“I live there. I uh actually saw you walking and..and thought of having someone judge my uh cookies.” She scratches the back of her neck and I nod. She must be an introvert because it appears like she doesn’t know how to communicate.

“I'll go now.” She said then she turned her back on me, walking to her apartment.

“Good night uh…”I yell. I bit my lower lip, wanting to say her name but I forgot to ask.

She turned to me, surprised in the loudness of my voice, she looks at her right and left and then she exhaled. She just nods and didn’t bother to tell me her name. I giggled and went inside my apartment to eat the delicious cookies.
