It was only 4 days left before Christmas and Ace didn't know how to propose and freaking out that Luna will reject him but he knows her, "She will say yes" Thought Ace, while wrapping the engagement ring, but then he remembered that he needed to get a puppy for her, so he texted her saying:
Ace: What's your favourite dog breed?
Luna: German Shepherd? Why are you asking?
Ace: I just wanted to know!
Luna: Okay?
So Ace grabbed his truck keys and walked over to his truck and got in then drove off to the dog shelter, after he arrived, he asked one of the people who worked there and said that there were no more German Shepherds left but there is one that is a mixed, so Ace said okay to the mixed German Shepherd and then he walked over the the mixed dog and he then realised it was a German Shepherd mixed with a Border Collie and Ace then thought "Wow, she is beautiful, and she... Just wow" so he got the puppy and said " You'll love your new home pup! But I have to leave you in the truck cause I don't want my girlfriend to know that I got her a puppy" so they got home and he let her sniff his hand before he got out of the truck.
It was Christmas Eve and Ace was working till 11 o'clock. Ace was so tired to drive home but all the other officer's where going home to their families so He had to risk on going home especially when it was snowing heavy, he then got home and got out of his camaro and got into the house and everything was quiet and he walked up the stairs and into the room and seen that Luna was sleeping, "Cute" Ace said quiet he got out of his Detective vest off and went to bed.
It was Christmas morning and Ace was the first one to wake up, then Luna woke up Ace lookee behind him and said " Merry Christmas and Good morning dear!" "Merry Christmas and Good morning" they then got dressed and went downstairs to have breakfast then they suddenly had their families come to the house for Christmas and Ace told them he was going to propose to Luna and that he was also going to give her a puppy.
They all gathered around the tree and they all opened their presents and there were only two presents left so Ace gave her the wrapped engagement ring and she opened it and said "What's this?" Ace took the ring and had one knee to the ground saying "Luna Wolfington, you make me the happiest man alive, so will you marry me?" "YES!"
Their families cheered with happiness.
