It was 11:25, five minutes until lunch and miss hanbray was handing out assignments that were due in a month. As she was calling out partners, Maddie heard hers being called. "Maddie and... Rachel! You two will work on this and make sure you both do equal amount each." Rachel stood there, speechless. "HER?! You want me to work with that rat?" Miss Hanbray sighed and closed her eyes. She knew this would be her reaction. "Yes, I want you two to get along with each other and maybe even be friends, Mr siski is tired of you two yelling in the hallways. You both work on this together, or I drop your grades by 50%." Maddie froze. "50%?!" Miss Hanbray nodded and continued to call out the names of partners. Rachel rolled her eyes and dragged Maddie out. "Hey! Let go!" Maddie took her hand back. "Look, I'm just as pissed at this as you are, but if my grades drop that much, so will my allowance." Maddie rolled her eyes. "Ok, sorry princess" she mocked. Rachel took out her text book and wrote on it. She ripped it out and gave it to the tomboy. Come over to my place by five. Maddie folded the paper and nodded. She then walked off to lunch................
