One Last Coffee? (E)

"2 Persons sharing one coffee?...we Punekars aren't misers...we'll have 2 coffees" He says and she giggles.

"but who'll pay the bill?" he says with a worried face teasing her and they both start laughing.

They go to a restaurant.

The waiter places their coffees in front of them.

"oye, whose your favorite hero?" he asks making plane of the tissue paper.

"you" she says writing something on the piece of paper. He stares at her shocked.

"no...I don't like watching movies" She says as she continues writing "I love to travel" she adds. He giggles.

"amar didn't gave you a tour of Pune?" he asks. "who knows, maybe he too was troubled by your behavior" he adds in a low voice and she glares at him.

"what do you mean by he too?" she asks.

"he too means he too" He says. she glares at him.

"okay okay....just like I was troubled with your behavior, he too was troubled...maybe" He says.

She shakes her head and continues writing. He smiles at her.

"didn't know how the whole day went...right?" he asks proudly.

"I know" she says still writing and he becomes sad😔. She looks up to see him upset "not like that...I wanted to say, I know how the day was well spent" She says and he smiles on listening that.

"so, what will you do about him now? " he asks teasing her.

"why should I worry about something that's not in my life?" she asks still writing.

"no...I am asking about that hridayamardam guy" He says.

"I am saying about him only" She says.

He becomes sad but then asks "may I ask you something?"

She keeps staring at him😲.

"what happened?" he asks finding her staring at him.

"asking for permission!...i didn't expect so much of respect!" She says teasing him and laughs.

He also giggles and continues "its too Personal of a question, that's why I am asking for permission...we are bestowed upon with such values...in our Pune..." but she holds her hands up(the hands up position).

"ya you might have remembered it ...right?" he says about his earlier rants about Puneri sanskaar. She giggles nodding her head "ask" she says.

"you are not able to forget that amar...that's why you are rejecting this hridayamardam guy ,right?" he asks.

"Hmmm" she hums positively still writing.

"did he(amar) came in your mind even once, the whole day today?" he asks seriously and she looks up at him.

They both stare at each other for a while, which he breaks later on and she continues writing her letter. They both keep glancing towards each other from time to time.
