000. PROLOGUE

ASHope sat there taking a deep breath just thinking through her decision, her blue-green eyes glanced at the unconscious form of her boyfriend.
She realised that, that she didn't actually love him the way she thought she did. You don't hurt the person you love.
But thinking back on the research she did on phoenixs she started to think a lot more about it. Maybe it was the attraction phoenixs cause around them.
She knew for a fact, Josie had a crush on him and so did Lizzie at some point but she was the most effected of the pull, maybe it's because she is the tribrid.
She tied each and every little detail she didn't question before but were huge red flags, and it all adds up.
Landon works for Malavore.
Malavore's using him as a way to get Hope, his only weakness, killed and she fell for it. God, how could she have been so stupid.
She should have known better, cause last time she opened up to a guy, he got her mother killed.
Hope sighed, she could deal with this later but right now, destroying Malavore is her main priority.
She then heard hard footsteps coming towards her at a fast pace. She took one last look at everything, wishing things to be different.
Wishing she could be with her dad, who'd call her princess and keep all the bad things away.
She couldn't help but think of the promise she had made to him. 'hope I didn't disappoint you dad'
And then she jumped, wiping off her existence in the world. And just like that, the most powerful being was gone, as if she was never there.
