Episode 6 - tea and blood

The sun came through light curtains that were already opened by someone before the sleeping woman on the bed. Bread? The warm and sweet scent finally hit Sara's nose, but that was weird since she normally didn't ate breakfast at all.

-Shit I'm probably late..-

She didn't remember a single thing after the party started the night before, she remembered dancing, she remembered spending time with the bodyguards since the stress was drowning her...but she couldn't remember anything past 10pm. Her bed was undone in a very neat way, she was still wearing the clothes from the day before. A sharp pain on her temple, pounding on her brain she was definitely hangover from her little party the day before.

Sara spent some minutes thinking about her duties that day, paperwork, paperwork..a meeting with the Chinese mafia..paperwork...She sighed.

"I- oh my" turning her head slightly she found a plate with warm toasts and honey decorated with strawberries paired with medicine for her hangover and a glass of milk.

"Kinn..oh my god i told him to not come into my room" she rubbed her eyes and sighed "it's still a good thing I guess" she got up from bed biting into the toast that reminded her of her only happy moments she had while she was younger. That's the only explanation of those toasts that relaxed her tensed shoulders.

"What actually happened yesterday.." her brain couldn't recall what she did yesterday but she could just hope she didn't do a stupid thing with any of the bodyguards.

Walking into the bathroom she had already gotten rid of her clothes until she stayed in her underwear preparing the things for after her shower. Her black messy hair fell over her shoulders, half done and half crooked from sleeping in a messy position.

Finally back into the bathroom she sighed staring at herself on the mirror just for a second, the necessary to know she didn't looked like a complete mess. It was still quite awkward to see herself just like that, her skin carried too many memories..too much pain.

She finally was able to step into the shower, the black tiled floors made a combination with the pale marble on the walls, she could always enjoy her time on the shower while she didn't look back to herself. Her mind was clouded in work like always, she had a meeting with her uncle to discuss his actions against Vegas and Macau...and now her work intensified, most troubled deals of the minor family would pass to her hands while all the money that came out of them would go back to the minor family. She didn't mind though, she took care of the deals and protected Vegas and Macau in the process since siblings or not those two boys meant the world to her. Was it too much responsibility for a 26 year old? Maybe but she was never normal if she was honest.

Stepping out her feet found the comforting sensation of the black and golden cotton rug underneath her feet. A few steps after and she was standing in front of her clothes for the day that were laid neatly over the black duvet with gold stitching.

A black skirt, black heels with silver decorations, black fitted shirt with cut out decorations with a royal blue degraded to black suit jacket to match her skirt and make the perfect contrast against her lightly tanned skin. Usual makeup finished with a lightly redder lip tint paired with lightly curled hair that was styled down, enough to show the earrings dangling on her ears (10 in total).

This time the air of the mansion seemed dense, at least heavy on his siblings side but just for that day she couldn't concentrate on something that wasn't all the paperwork and the pending meeting with the Chinese mafia.

- The upgrades for the bodyguard rooms done..the menu upgrades done...the gold mine deal paperwork done...the minor family bar paperwork done...-

Being the head of the most powerful family in the area wasn't easy when she was this young, but being trusted with the position by her own father was a extra weight that pressed down on her chest so there were no mistakes.
