┊・five : exploring RPD

—"YEAH I just turned 19 today" you spoke to marvin. getting to know each other. "well happy birthday, sorry this day is going to shit" he chuckled. you shook your head and smiled.

"does anyone know what started this?" leon spoke out of nowhere. you quickly turned your back towards him. he was in uniform, and god damn he looks good in it. you thought to yourself , not being able to snap out of it.

you looked at him up and down. never realized he was actually attractive... geez.

"not a clue" marvin responded, breaking you out of your thoughts. you started paying attention again."but honestly, all you need to know is that this place will you eat you alive if you aren't careful"

"yeah...well, i was supposed ti start last week and i got a call to stay away." leon added as he reloaded his gun and put it away. "i wish i've come here sooner" he looked over at you and then back at marvin.

"you're here now,leon. that's all that matters" marvin told him. you couldn't help but smile over how sweet this man was. "okay, lieutenant, i'm ready" he told marvin as he walked over to him.

you arched an eyebrow. this man better not try leaving me alone. leon looked over at you and saw your expression. "we're ready" leon corrected his sentence. you couldn't help but smile once again. it was funny to you.

after discussing with marvin on finding a way out of the station it was time... "after getting out we can get you to the hospital" you told marvin. he quickly shook his head.  "no, i'm not top priority here"

"lieutenant, we're not just gonna leave you here-"
leon spoke but was quickly cut off by marvin. "i'm giving you an order, rookie. you save yourself and this young woman first. i'd come with but i'd just slow both of you down"

you looked to see leon somewhat roll his eyes at being called rookie as he sighed. you felt pain in your chest, you couldn't just leave this man here all alone badly injured.

marvin gave leon advice and warnings on what to do when he sees a zombie, leon at the end replies with a "yes sir". you felt respect towards him and marvin, for both being still respectful to one another during a situation like this.

leon looked away for a split second feeling bad as he couldn't help marvin. he then looked up at you and signaled you let's head out with his head. you replied with a nod and followed behind him.

"god the smell is awful" you said softly as you held your gun tightly and walked slowly behind leon. "tell me about it" he said.

you filled with anxiety the entire time of walking around the police station , you have seen some stuff you never expected to see.

leon was investigating around and came across some papers and used his brain to figure out combinations. "my my, you got the brains" you smirked at him as he finished the combination. he shook his head and chuckled.

you came across some zombies that you had to shoot, leon obviously helping you aim. he was behind you as you held your arm out and aimed your gun at the zombie that was slowly crawling to you at the library.

"now you want to hold it in this angle" leon instructed in your ear. you nodded and pressed your lips together. "good... that's it... now shoot"

you closed your eyes and shot the zombie right in the head. killing it for good. "see your learning so well already". you had a small smile as you turned your head over not realizing how truly close leon was to you.

both making eye contact with each other for maybe 3 seconds. you felt your heart pound over the silence and gaze you both shared. "we need to get out of here" he said as he let go of your body. you didn't realize feeling someone attractive as leon on your body could make you feel somewhat flustered.

"leon, it's marvin. i need you guys back here ASAP." a voice spoke through leon's walkie talkie. "are you okay marvin?" he spoke back. "i've got something to show you. it's important" marvin responded. "copy that, we'll be right there."
