I could feel a cold stare from the dark alley I was walking down in. There were cats messing around everywhere. How many were there? I couldn't count, there were too many sounds coming from too many places. Why did it feel like more than a single pair of eyes were staring at me? I don't know. I rushed to the end of the short cut I took. It felt like something was chasing me as I was running.
I turned around to see what was chasing me. Nothing was there but darkness, but then I felt the cold stare once again. Though it felt like I made eye contact with the darkness. Why? What was there? I make it out of the deadly darkness, I look down at my feet to spot a black cat rubbing against my legs.
I mean I didn't think much of it, it's natural for a cat to get comfortable at first.
The next night after the incident, I was invited to a sleepover to a friend's house. I couldn't say no, there were too many events happening there. I couldn't miss it. I realized the house I had to arrive at was too far on foot, I had to take shortcuts to get there faster. I took the same route I took the other night, the only thing different from the route was the turns and street names.
I stopped dead in my tracks once I recognized the alley way I was about to walk in. 'i just have to run through here and I'm almost there ' I thought quickly. I slowly took a few steps into the alley, I use my phone as a flashlight so the incident wouldn't happen again.
As I took the first 4 steps into the alley, I noticed that many animals were staring dead at me. As if they were staring into my soul. The yellow eyes that was staring at me move into a pile slowly, I was shaking in fear and could only back up a bit.
As I back up, the bright yellow and green eyes fade away and the black outline of the pile kept getting bigger and bigger. I was overwhelmed in fear. The eyes became... larger than ever. I'm back where I stood before outside the entrance of the alley. My eyes are wide open but i still see a space of nothingness. I blink sevral times to see if my eyes are playing tricks on me.
But turns out their not. I blink harshly once more and open my eyes quickly. i could feel a presetnce towering over me.
Next thing I know, I'm pulled into a deep never ending darkness.
