The twins' morning routine was the same as a few years ago. As if there were no these three years of separation. Laurent, hair still damp, sat at the kitchen counter, drowsily drinking freshly brewed coffee while Larry hummed contentedly to prepare breakfast for them.

The twins spent almost half a day moving things from Larry's former apartment to Laurent's. It would have taken less time if Larry hadn't fought so hard for every single thing Laurent wanted to throw away or give away. Most of Larry's things didn't matter or looked rather shabby. The guys from Crime rolled their eyes, hiding smiles in their fists or lifting boxes. The last thing they wanted was to be shot in the head by an embarrassed Larry.

When they brought the last boxes of things from Larry's apartment, they moved them to Laurent's apartment, and his phone rang.

- Oh, my favorite client!-  If Laurent could, he would purr with pleasure. Larry swore he saw dollar and euro signs in the twin's eyes. - I haven't heard from you for a long time. I am very offended, my dear! - Laurent sobbed theatrically into the phone, but then he said quite pleased. - Twenty pieces: transfer seventy percent to me right now to my account, the remaining thirty at your request. You know the rules. Reset SMS when everything is ready - Laurent dropped the call and looked at Larry.

- Do you want to come with me? Then, on the way back, we can pick up Lilo from Mom.

- Yes, I am for all limbs. I can be your bodyguard again.

- Oh, Lar, everything will be fine, otherwise, these guys from Bubu are so dull. They don't seem to know how to have fun at all. - Laurent sighed sadly, and Larry laughed softly. - If you need a weapon, it's in the closet, behind the big picture. - Larry, not believing the words of the twin, went to the door, to which Laurent nodded and slowly opened it, frozen on the threshold with his mouth wide open. Behind a large and ridiculous picture, in a thick wooden frame, stood a weapon. More precisely, a whole arsenal of weapons. Pretty ironic if consider, that Laurent did not like weapons at all.

Larry even found it amusing to watch his brother walk among the five half-dead bodies, giving them instructions, almost forcing them to heal their wounds. To any objections and complaints, he hissed angrily and, with particular pleasure, sewed up deep cuts and wounds without anesthesia. When he got to the head of this gang, Lemonnier then carefully examined all his injuries, not paying much attention to the painful sighs and cries. His guards were about to rush to Laurent, but Larry quickly blocked their access, showing a gun and his determined look.

It reminded Larry of their younger days when Laurent first entered medical school. His twin always wanted to be a doctor, binge-watching medical shows, reading tons of literature and practicing on criminals.

Inexperienced yellow student, who just completed preparatory courses. As soon as the money began to appear, they immediately got out of my mother's house. A lousy apartment in a lousy neighborhood where all sorts of petty bandits and people who had no insurance or citizenship flocked to. They heard about a young self-taught doctor who settled in one of the apartments in a poor quarter of Paris. As dangerous as it was for them, Laurent seemed like the best option to have at least one chance to survive. Besides the Bourgeois twins, it brought quite a lot of money.

Larry then also stood guard, not allowing anyone to interfere with his brother, try not to finish off the wounded. Yes, the difference is that now he was saving someone's life confidently, and not with a textbook in one hand and a surgical suture kit in the other.

An hour later, the twins were on their way to their mother...

Mom was a special person to each of them. For some unknown reason, Larry turned out to be a more aggressive child than Laurent. Mom tried to somehow compensate for this by paying more attention to Larry. But then she made the biggest mistake she could.

Noticing that her twins were too attached, she decided to separate them, fearing that their relationship could go beyond the moral and ethical bar. When she entered their room, she often found the twins in the same bed, almost always embracing. Even when the whole family was going to the movies, the guys always shared chairs. Sending Laurent away, she seemed to see her Larry again. There were more fights at school, grades started to drop, and school was skipping classes, if not an entire day of school.

Mom saw a miracle when Laurent returned. As if fate had arranged for their mother to open her eyes. She brought Laurent from the bus station just as Larry was about to pick up a fight with the neighbor's boyfriend. Laurent, seeing this picture, ignoring his mother, got out of the car and went to the twin. Mom watched with wide eyes as Laurent fearlessly approached the aggressive twin, turned him by the shoulders to face him, and clearly and calmly said: "Larry, that's enough. Take it easy".

Mom saw Larry exhale for a long time, say something to that guy, and, freeing himself from his brother's grip, go into the house.

Last time, and in a similar situation, she couldn't even make him turn his head. And Laurent ended the conflict in a few seconds. With the return of Laurent, Larry's grades improved and the calls stopped due to fights or truancy at school.

Larry still hasn't forgiven her for leaving him without Laurent for six months. Although, after many years, he was sure that they would be better off without each other.

Thinking about their past, Larry didn't notice how they ended up in his mom's driveway.

- Follow the princess. - Laurent spoke dryly.

- You won't go? - Larry asked before opening the car door, already knowing the answer.

- I just received six thousand euros in cash, not counting the rest of the cash on me. Do you want to be a spectator of the play: " You owe us money, are we your family? »

- This is so bad? - Larry squeezed Laurent's hand.

- Worse. - Laurent replied, urging his brother to get out of their cars and get this over with.

Larry knocked briefly on the door, which opened almost immediately.

- Larry. Are you for Lilo? - his sister's question looked very stupid, but trying to see the car and the driver in it was too obvious.

- Yes.- Larry snorted. - How long does it take her to get ready?

- Not at all, she's ready to go.

- Okay, then call her and we'll end this stupid conversation.

A cold conversation with her older sister about nothing took up time while Lilo packed her things and went downstairs. When she saw her father, she happily threw herself into his arms. She didn't like spending time with her grandmother. She was almost always alone...
