Plot
Have you ever had a wish....
Deep within the library is a book titled Dangerous Wish, and every time someone checks it out, a letter which grants the borrower one wish, falls out....
Mira is having an average 16th birthday, at least as average as you can have on Halloween, until her grandma brings out her cake with 16 black candles in it, upon blowing out the candles a chill gust of wind blows through the house and all the lights go out. The moon is covered by an eclipse and the party is engulfed in darkness. Kassy screams as each candle slowly relight itself. Try as she may mira and everyone else at the party can't get the candles to blow back out. Mira and kassy are bewildered to see Mira's last name now magically engraved in each of the candle. Upon asking her grandma where she bought the candles she replies "Zachary's tomes and oddities" they arrive at the library and meet the rather off putting Zachary who gives them the spell book for the candles called, "dangerous wish" mira discovers that she can blow out one candle every hour on the hour and make any death wish she pleases. If she refuses to make the wish herself a random one will be granted until all 16 candles are out. Until then the eclipse will remain and cover her little town...
