Old friends

The party

2 weeks later it's now David's sister's birthday party and the whole town was there

"Hey Moon, you remember my sister Mia right?" Asked David

"Of course she's not the one that moved away." Said Moon jokingly

"Ok no need to be a jackass about it" David said walking away

"God Mia you would expect David to change a little especially from him going away for months" Moon said looking away from David

"Yeah but I'm use to it, our dad getting remarried probably isn't helping him the divorce was hard enough on him." Mia said as she was still greeting guests

"You know he invited me to be his plus one to the wedding I don't know if I'm gonna go yet." Moon said helping Mia

"Please go he needs you Moon, you mean a lot to him."

A couple hours later people started leaving but Moon, David, and Mia stayed back to clean the mess from the party

"Go home Mia it's your birthday go relax me and Moon will be fine, I'll call you when we are done." David said trying to get Mia out

"Oh I get it you two have fun, not to much fun tho don't want any kids yet." Mia said in a mocking tone

"Mia! Go away omg" David said annoyed

"What is that about?" Moon asked as she cleans

"Mia think I still like you-"

"Wait you used to like me?" Moon asked looking at David

"Well duh of course I did, I mean look at you"

Moon looks away flustered "what about me?" She asked in a mocking tone

"Oh you know, your amazing blue eyes and how they light up when you talk about something you like, how you jump when you get excited. Want me to go on?" David said as he looked into Moon's eyes like he did all those years ago

Moon covered her face to try to hide the fact she was flustered.

David walked up to Moon and she backed up to the wall

"You trust me right?" David asked as he lifted up Moon's head

Moon slowly nods her head trying not to show how flustered she is

David leans in for a kiss then walks away

Moon takes a deep breath "What the fuck David"

"What? I didn't do anything" David said smiling

"God I hate you" Moon said as she sits on the floor

David throws her a towel "Get your ass up we still need to clean and pack"

"Yeah yeah jackass I'll do it" Moon said as she hits David

They finished cleaning and went back home to go pack for David dad's wedding
