Ash started to feel his worries catch up to him making him freeze up for a second before he answered So what did you decide? the chairman didn't take long to answer We regret to inform you that your Greninja will be banned....

From using this ability in official battles. After seeing what it is capable of we have decided that it would be unfair to other participants of the WCS. Ash was dumbfounded, battle bond is something they control yes but it's not something they are willing to not use, without saying anything else he hangs up. Ash pulled up the WCS app and went to his profile where underneath his rank there was a button that said "Drop out of series" he hesitated looking at the button remembering when he said he would never hit that button, and yet he hit it a message popped up saying "are you sure you wish to drop out?" With two small buttons saying "Yes" and "No" Ash once again hesitated thinking if he really wanted this, eventually he made up his mind and hit a button.

Goh looked at Ash's phone screen and read the text You have successfully dropped out of the WCS. Goh's eyes widened as he saw what Ash just did. His friend who loves battling and dreams of becoming a Pokémon master just dropped out of something that was motivating him to make his way up to the strongest trainer in the world.
Goh blinked rapidly rubbing his eyes hoping he was just seeing things, but it was still there. Eventually Ash turned his phone off and looked at Goh tears forming in his eyes Goh. I had no choice. Goh didn't answer immediately knowing he had to be careful with his words eventually he said Ash, do you want to talk about it? Ash simply nodded, they sat down and Ash started talking the call I got it was from the chairman they said that Greninja wouldn't be allowed to use it's power in a match. Goh gasped he wanted to ask something so bad but he chose not to Ash continued I regret it so much already and it's only been a couple minutes. "Oh Ash" Goh thought how about you talk to Leon about it. You have his number right? Ash nodded, Ash called Leon and asked him about the situation but all Leon said was that he'll see what he can do, which means there's no guarantee that Ash will be battling Raihan.
