It had been a little over three and a half years since the apocalypse began, in this time, Y/N had been run out of a couple different vehicles and bases, but was doing pretty well over all, he hadn't lost his stuff, wasn't injured, and hadn't died. He was doing just about as good as someone can during the end of the world.

As he drove down a narrow road somewhere in New Mexico, he turned his head to see a jeep's headlights come into veiw, he pulled off, since he was on a motorcycle, and did not want to get hit. He sat there waiting for the jeep to pass, but instead, it stopped, and a woman hopped out. Instinctively, Y/N put his hand on his machete, hoping not to have to fight her, but ready for it anyway, as he did, he looked up to see a guy, seeming to be the youngest in that group, aiming his rifle, right at him. To which, Y/N quickly pulled his hand away and put both in the air.

"Hey, I'm not attacking ya'll unless you attack me." He said, calmly.

"Alright, I'll trust you for now," The woman said, making the 'I have my eyes on you' motion, "10k gun down."

And he did.

"Hey kid, what are you doing out here on your own?" An older, bearded man questioned.

"Traveling," Y/N stated.

"Where to?" The man asked.

"Anywhere, really."

"Well, you might want to get outta here, some freaky shits been going on." He said.

Y/N tilted his head as to ask for elaboration.
The youngest one with black hair chimed in,

"Aliens-"

"Would you shut up? It wasn't aliens, your crazy uncle was probably on some kinda weird trip or hallucination," retorted a horrible looking blue guy.

'What the hell, why does this guy look like a Z?!" Y/N thought, "Um, why i-"

"Long story," replied the woman, and another with red hair in unison.

"Alright then..."

The red head cleared her throat, "Well, I'm Addison, the old hippie dude is Doc, blue guy's Murphy, the brooding guy in the backseat is Vasquez, she is Warren," she gestures at the woman, "And the sniper in the back is 10k."

"Y/N, it's a pleasure," he said, reaching out his hand, to 'Warren', who seemed to be in charge of the group. She shook it, apprehensively.

"So, where ya headin' kid?" Doc asked.

"Where ever the road takes me really."

"Well, it looks like the road took you right to us, why don't you tag along? I'm sure we could all agree that an extra pair of hands wouldn't hurt." He suggested.

"If ya'll want me to I will." Y/N shrugged.

"Well then, hop on your bike and follow, we're going." Warren cut-in.

Getting on his motorcycle, he followed, not really sure where they were going, but he knew this was where he was supposed to be. He knew this would lead to new things, and adventure, and this just felt right.

He spent the night travelling with them, seeing the weird stuff they were talking about, and he didn't know what to think, aliens seemed so far fetched, but I guess so do zombies.

Until the next day...
