A Vampire Family au wherein having your first baby can be stressful for a new Mom, Heli, but having a loving and caring husband named Jaan, can minimize the anxiety of being a good parent.

NOTE: I think we need more of Jino as an only baby parts in this story now :3

P.S: Jaan and Heli differ in giving their children nicknames. While Heli calls them by fruits, Jaan tends to nickname their children in relation to space like shooting stars, starshine and all that! :>

This oneshot will also include male breastfeeding so if you are uncomfortable with these, you are allowed to skip and not read this!

It was another peaceful night.

Wait, no. Scratch out the peaceful. It was yet another night for Heli and Jaan

Jaan immediately sat up from bed the moment baby Jino's cries from the nursery that was not so far away from their bedroom rang through his ears. Ever since Jino was born and came into their lives, Jaan suddenly became a sensitive light sleeper when it came to sleep and would wake up easily to any sounds or to the sounds of their little son's cries

That included his husband, Heli, too

It was like 1am in the morning if Jaan could still manage to convince himself that it was on the wall clock in their room despite his obvious sleepy demeanor

"Baby..." He mutters in a hoarse yet tired voice as he looks over to his spouse who also sat up from bed with him "Baby, I got it. I got Jino. You don't have to get up to get our little boy." As much as Jaan wanted to go back and drift to dreamland, he knew that Heli needed the rest and sleep more than he did right now

Heli was mostly the one who awakes at times like these to tend to their little boy who decides that early hours in the morning was the perfect time to awake his parents through loud crying. He is his parents' personal alarm, Jaan might say

The silver head gently leaned over and pushed Heli back to the comfort of their bed, the ravenette didn't even argue back and let his husband do what he was doing as his head laid back unto his pillow

"You sleep more, okay? I'll go get Jino." Jaan whispers, softly running his fingers through Heli's raven black strands as his husband hummed "But baby, what if you'll lack of sleep?" Jaan airily chuckled at Heli's remark and kissed his forehead

"You still haven't had enough sleep these past few days, right baby?" Despite their slightly dimmed room where the only source of light in the night was the lamp on Jaan's side of the bed, the silver head could make out Heli's adorable frown in which made him chuckle once again

"Dummy." He mutters, yet Heli still persisted "But baby, you still have work tomorrow..." He tells his husband

"What do you mean I still have work tomorrow?" Jaan remarked, slightly furrowing his brows at Heli's response "Baby, I do have work tomorrow, but it doesn't mean that I can't take care of our own son and let you sacrifice your precious slumber." Jaan gently caresses Heli's cheeks while speaking softly

But before Heli could even make another response, Jaan snuggles his face to the inner parts of his neck and places a small kiss, making the ravenette whine in a soft voice as Jaan pulls away "Just go back to sleep, baby. Jino's crying endlessly now, I'll take care of him tonight." Heli continued to frown his lips despite the small head touches and pats Jaan was giving him

Jaan notices it and croons "Don't worry about me, Heli. Just sleep please." Says Jaan "I promise, I won't take long. I'll be right back with our little Jino." And before Jaan left the bedroom, he plants one last kiss unto Heli's lips before he shifts his body out of their comfortable covers and walks out towards the nursery when their little baby Jino was occupying in
