Shilo ran through the forest as her feet got dirtied with mud. Thunder and lightning could be heard in the background as she looked for shelter. She made a sharp turn when she saw a cave and immediately ran for it. Just as she got inside, she heard the thunder outside grow louder and the rain rain harder. She let out an exhausted sigh as she immediately dropped her heavy bag on the ground and kneeled beside it. She opened her bag to pull out a lighter. She didn't have any wood to start a fire, but she had she small lighter. The moment she turned it on, the small flame cast a faint glow that lit up the cave, even if it was just a little bit.
She looked up from her lighter to look at the cave. It went deeper, but she couldn't see anything inside it. It was too dark. She closed her bag up as she placed it back on her shoulders and made her way deeper inside, the further she can get away from the outside the better.
Shilo held up her lighter to use it as a flashlight. It didn't do much to light the way, but it was something. As she went deeper, the cave slowly began to show bricks and walls. As she got further, she saw more ruins and destroyed statues. She went closer to a half intact wall, several writings etched into the stone. She held the lighter up against it to see it, but she could not make out any of the symbols. She placed her hand aganst the ruins, and they began to glow. Her eyes widened as she turned around and noticed several ruins around her beginning to glow as well. The floor, the walls, even the ceiling. The glowing got brighter until she was surrounded by blinding bright white light.
She slowly opened her eyes back up, and found herself floating in an empty white room, the words "We have been trying to contact you regarding your car's extended warranty." written in black in on the wall in front of her.
