It is hard

Tears didn't stop rolling down my cheeks even as I splashed cool tap water on my face repeatedly. Why couldn't I get such a simple thing? Everyone around me easily did. What happened? How did I reach here? How did I go from getting 99-100 in Maths, to getting panic attacks just doing half the sum?

My exam was just four months away. If I don't score well, what would I even do with my life?

I have always been the type of person who takes their education seriously.

I have to win. I have to work harder every day to keep up with my dear competitors, aka, friendly chameleons.

I can't and certainly won't let one stupid thorn in my foot (read: Maths) ruin my entire journey. I will practice like never before, and finish story.

With that in mind, I hastily wiped off the tears from my face and stared back at the girl behind the mirror: a girl with slight hormonal acne, tanned skin, and eyes that were now puffy but newly lit with fire and determination.

Tomorrow when I go to school, I am going to contact my Mathematics teacher. No matter what it takes, I can, and I will do it.

I hope that this chapter was good! What do you guys think?

Question of the day:
