"Good afternoon appa" he bowed respectfully.

Kim Daehyun who was sitting on his big chair facing his back to door, turn toward his son, and left Taehyung surprised with his extra sweet smile.

A fake trap...

Taehyung smiled back as he saw his father standing from how seat and walking toward him. And when he reached to him, he took Taehyung offgaurd as he hugged him like he has missed his son so much.

This was for the first time in these fucking years, Taehyung was beyond surprised. He felt so happy when his father hugged him and patted his back. Making him hug his dad back, happily.

"Welcome back my son" he patted his back and said the words that Taehyung wanted to hear from him since years.

"How are you?" He pulled away from hug with never ending fake smile and asked which he didn't even once in years.

"I'm fine appa, how are you?" He was still surprised but to not ruin the moment he went with the flow and asked back with his oh so innocent smile. His dad took him to make him sit on a chair beside him.

"Hmm, I'm fine too, thankfully you came." he said faking the sigh pretending as he missed Taehyung so much. While reality was completely something else.

"A-actually, my job follows quite busy schedule, so I couldn't---" he began to nervously fidget his finger in his lap.

"It's okay, I understand, I'm happy you're now here."

He's happy?

He understands?

Those words felt like Taehyung never heard before, cause poor boy actually didn't, not at least from his dad. Tae felt so happy that his Father was talking to him like this.

"You are really happy?" Taehyung asked not realizing but regretting it the next second but--

"Yeah--can't you see? I'm really happy." His father chuckled "Okay leave it, tell me about your friends? How's everything there?"

Taehyung felt he was day dreaming the way his dad asked about his friends, the same friends he hated his whole life. Tae wanted to pinch himself to believe the happenings but what poor boy didn't know that it was just a trap, to break him down forever.

"Everything's fine there too, um--appa are you fine?"

"Oh tae,You're not Believing me, right? Yeah why would you? When I wasn't good with you and I didn't do anything that a father should do--" He faked a sad face and Taehyung looked away not denying that it hurted him.

"But don't worry, now I'll make everything right, that's why I called you here--"

God! He was never this polite

This was everything Taehyung hoped for all those years when his dad only mistreated him. He only hoped that one day his father will understand him. And For him it was today, everything was going so smooth between father & son that he couldn't think out of box and his father's fakeness fell like a curtain on his braincells blinding him from reality. Mr.kim knew very well that he can manipulate Taehyung being sweet with him, he was enjoying it when Taehyung was innocently getting himself in his trap.

"And what's that appa?" He asked not letting the conversation die as it was after along time that he was talking to his appa like this.

"We'll surely talk about it later my son, first I want to hear to you, are you okay to stay with your father for sometime?" He asked trying to get Taehyung in his believe which was seeming to work because Taehyung got traped in his dirty plan.
