The sophomore teenager walked through the halls fairly confidently, her (H/C) hair in a ponytail, swishing back and forth as she walked to her language arts class. It was the first day for everyone (Except the freshman of course; they had started one day before), and she didn't know a lot of the students that went there.
Her bright, (E/C) orbs traveled the entire length of the corridor, distracting herself from what she was supposed to be doing, which was finding room #18. She read every poster as she passed them, attempted to remember every face that she saw, and concentrated on every single step she took so she knew she wouldn't trip. She was focusing on everything else so much, she almost didn't notice the bell rang, and she had missed her classroom about a minute back. The teenager ran back past the doorways, until finally, she made it to her desired room. Out of breath, the girl went in awkwardly, not wanting to draw attention to herself, but also not wanting to skip class first period. As soon as her foot stepped into the classroom, she felt her face heating up like the sun as she saw everyone staring at her.
"(Y/N....(L/N)?" The teacher called, and the girl quickly scurried to her seat next to three people the same age as her.
"Here." She managed, catching her breath. The teacher moved on, after giving the girl an intimidating stare.
"Hannah..." The man continued. The girl turned her attention towards the rest of the room, tuning out his monotone voice. Her eyes landed on the teenagers surrounding her.
The first boy was almost bald, his head recently shaved. His eyes were a light hazel color, almost yellow dominating the iris. He had a boyish look about him, despite him being over sixteen. There was a girl next to him, brunette with chocolate brown eyes. She playfully pushed the first guy and he laughed, pushing her back.
"Knock it off, Connie." The blonde next to him glared at 'Connie', making him shrink down a bit in his seat.
"Oh, c'mon, we were just messing around." Sasha grinned at him. The guy shrugged, turning his attention towards her.
His short haircut was a yellowish blonde, not too pale, and not too dark. His peach skin color did not go well with his constant I'm-pissed-don't-even-look-at-me facial expression. The teen definitely did not want to anger him. The guy really could stand to smile once in a while. She's never met him before, but he didn't exactly seem the type to give out free hugs.
"Who're you?" He asked.
"I'm (Y/N)..." She replied, a little nervous.
"Sasha Braus." The brunnette waved at her and Connie gave her a nod of recognition. "I'm Connie."
"Reiner."
The (H/C) girl nodded, attempting to match face to name. Their names went well with their appearance. She figured it couldn't be that hard.
"Quiet down!" The teacher snapped. "Get your textbooks from the middle of the table, and turn to page 42." He sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose.
Everyone did so, except for the two across from her.
"I want the top book! It's the best one!" Connie's words were close to a whine as he yanked the cover defiantly.
"No way! I grabbed it first." Sasha hissed. They bickered like a married couple, always having some other argument set in line so they'd never run out of ways to win the verbal fight.
"I called dibs though." Connie seethed, jerking his arms back, which ended up elbowing another student behind him.
"What the hell?" The boy turned around, his eyes glinting murderously. When Connie glanced trying to figure out what his arm connected with, Sasha took the chance to rip the textbook out of his hands, but the force made her fall over in her chair, a loud crash echoing through the quiet room as she made impact with the floor.
