My name is Lindsay Diamond. I just moved from Nashville, California to Austin, Texas after my dad died in a brutal car accident. My daddy was my everything, and now that he's gone, I've lost my way. That's why I decided to come here to start a new life with my Mama.
Today's my first day at my new school, Hardwood High. I hope I can get along with everyone, because I have a really bad stutter.
I drive my red Ford f250 truck with fire patterns on the side. It was my daddy's before his died. He always said I was like his little firecracker. I put on my headphones and listen to Backstreet Boys. No one else likes Backstreet Boys... they think it's stupid. It's too underground for them, they wouldn't understand. Their lyrics speak to me.
As I walk through the corridors, trying to find my way, I walk into a solid wall and look up with confusion. There shouldn't be a wall in the middle of the hallway-! It wasn't a wall, it was a very handsome man's very hard chest.
"Hey baby, you smell delicious." The man said, and I instantly blushed. I'm super shy though, and he was so much taller than me. "You're so small and petite. How tall are you anyways? Probably three foot or something."
"F-f-f-four foot e-e-eleven..." I stutter, tucking my head into my hoodie. My outfit is so plain, I don't know why he'd choose me out of all the pretty gorls here.
"You smell so good... you should let me bite you baby." The man continued to smirk at me, his handsome face getting closer and closer. He bent down and sniffed my neck, and I blushed.
"E-e-e-e-e-e-e-everyone's s-s-staring!" I stutter, burying my face in his chest to get away from everyone's prying eyes.
"Don't worry, baby. It's just me and you right now." He growled.

"Oh, that's the bell baby. I'll see you after class. Come meet me at my limousine parked outside." The sexy man said, tucking the pieces of hair that had fallen from my messy bun behind my ears. I swear that when he smirked at me, I could see sharp fangs sticking out. No! I must be delusional.

As I walked into my new classroom, I could feel all eyes on me. The teacher gave me a comforting smile, but it didn't help.
"Good morning class! We've got a new student here today! Please, introduce yourself."
I couldn't bare to lift my head up. "H-h-h-hello. My n-n-n-name is L-L-L-L-Lindsay D-d-diamond." I say, nervously brushing my hair behind my ear.
I finally pluck up the courage to look up through my long lashes and I startle backwards in surprise! The handsome man from before is here! And he's staring at me with handsome, broody eyes...
