Y/N's Point Of View

When I woke up, I rushed out of bed and got dressed, because today I was going to meet the rest of the Madrigals.      I walked out of my room, and my papa was sitting at the table eating a bagel.  

''Good morning papa!'' I greeted my papa. ''How did you sleep?''

''Fine'' He plainly said, taking a sip of his coffee.

''Can I still go to the Madrigal's today?'' I asked, making sure he was still okay with me going.

''I suppose.'' He answered in a dull tone, not really wanting to talk to me.

''Okay, thank you!'' I thanked my papa, he nodded.      I made myself a bagel, and when I was finished making it, I went to sit next to my papa, but he had already finished eating and left the table.

''I'm going to go look for work, I might be gone all day, so you can go to the Madrigal's whenever.'' He said putting on his jacket and walking out the door.     I sighed, and ate my bagel.  I always tried to talk to him, but he never want's to talk to me. That makes me really sad, because I want to build a good relationship with him, like how it was before my mami died.

I finished eating my bagel and took the last sip of my orange juice, and grabbed my furry coat, and went out side and made my way to the Casita.                                                                                                I arrived to the Casita and knocked on the door.  I could hear in the distance Señora Alma calling out from inside the Casita.

''Dolores! Can you see who's at the door?''  A few moments later the door opened.

''Oh hola again Y/N! How are you?''  She asked me.

''Hola Dolores, I'm good! Is Mirabel here?'' 

''Oh, yeah, one sec!'' She left the door, and walked back into Casita to find Mirabel I guess.

''Hi Y/N! You ready?'' Mirabel asked.

''Yup! I'm all ready!'' I said.

''Great! I can introduce you to my papa first if you'd like!'' She suggested.

''Fine with me!'' I said. We walked into the kitchen where Señora Julieta was cooking.

''Mama, have you seen papa?'' Mirabel asked her mama.

''Oh, yes, he went to the store to pick me up something.'' She said wiping her hands on her apron. ''Why did you need him?''

''Well I just wanted to introduce him to Y/N.'' 

''Oh, hola Y/N!'' She greeted me with a hug. ''I guess you'll have to catch him later.'' She told her daughter.

''That's okay, we still have more people for you to meet!'' Mirabel said, taking my hand. ''Come on Y/N, I can introduce you to my Tia Pepa!'' She suggested.

''Okay!'' I said. 

''Oh I nearly forgot! Let me take your coat!'' She said suddenly.

''Oh okay.'' I said taking off my coat. ''Where should I put it?'' 

''Oh I can take it!'' She said. I handed her my coat and she threw it to the wall, I was really confused, but then a tile from the wall opened, and it caught the coat.

''Whoa!'' I said.

''Pretty cool right!'' Mirabel said. ''It's all Casita's doing, isn't that right Casita?''  suddenly the doors started to open and close as if to say ''Yes.''

''Okay, well anyway, my Tia is over there.'' Mirabel said pointing over to an auburn, curly haired lady, wearing a yellow and orange dress, and her hair in a long braid. She was sitting on a couch  next to a shorter, dark skinned man with curly hair.

''Tia, Tio!'' Mirabel called out to them.

''Yes Mirabel?'' The man asked.

''I wanted to introduce you two to my new friend Y/N, she just moved here yesterday with her papa!''

''Oh, hola Y/N!'' The woman greeted me. ''My name is Pepa , and this is my husband, Felix.''

''Hola Señora Pepa, Señor Felix, It's a pleasure to meat you!'' 

''How old Y/N?''  Señora Pepa asked me.

''I am fifteen.'' I answered.

''Oh Felix! She's perfect for our Camilito!'' She told her husband excitedly.     I chuckled nervously.

''Um, who?'' I asked.

''Our son, Camilo! You're perfect for him! Mirabel, have introduced her to Camilo yet?'' She said excitedly.

''Uh.. no.. I.. I haven't.'' Mirabel said seeming dumbfounded from what she had said.  I stifled a laugh at Mirabel's response and expression.

''Oh! I'll fix that right now, Ca-'' She was cut off by Mirabel.

''No, no, that's alright Tia, I was about to introduce her to Camilo after I introduced her to you anyway, I can just take her to Camilo, I don't want to bother him, he might be busy!''  Mirabel insisted.

''Oh, okay then, I'll see you later then Y/N?'' 

''Yes, we'll see you late Tia, Tio, but for now, we have to get going, I want to introduce her to the rest of the family!''  Mirabel told them before I could say anything, and she grabbed my wrist and she started to walk away.

''Don't forget to introduce her to Camilo!!''  Señora Pepa called out.

''I won't forget Tia, don't worry!'' Mirabel said continuing to walk away.

''Okay, well, since my Tia really wants me to introduce you to Camilo, I guess I'll introduce you to Camilo!'' Mirabel said.   Just as she said that, an adorable little boy, with dark skin, and curly dark hair walked up to us.

''Who's this Mirabel?'' He said in an adorable toddler's voice.

''Oh, Antonio! This is my new friend, Y/N!'' Mirabel told the little boy.  ''Y/N, this is my little primo Antonio!'' She introduced me to the little boy.

''Hello Antonio, it's nice to meet you!'' I said kneeling down to be equal with his size.

''Hi Y/N! Your pretty!'' Antonio said, that made my heart melt! 

''Aww, your such a sweet little boy!'' I said holding my arms out for a hug. He gave me a big hug.  Mirabel looked down at the embrace and smiled.  We let go of the embrace.

''How old are you Antonio?'' I asked.

''I'm five, I'll be six next year!'' He asked cheerfully.

''You're mighty grown up to be five, are you sure you're not, hmm, twenty?'' I asked jokingly. He giggled.

''I like you!''  Antonio told me. I put my hand on my heart.

''Aww, I like you to Antonio!'' I said rubbing his head, he giggled.  

''Well, we have to get going, I have to introduce Y/N to your brother!'' Mirabel told Antonio.  The little boy gasped in realization.

''You'd be perfect for my brother!!'' He said.    'Like mother like son' I thought.    I blushed, and gave Mirabel a kind of uncomfortable look. She got the message.

''Okay, see you later Tonito!'' Mirabel said, kinda pushing me away.

''Wow Y/N, you're already being shipped with someone you haven't even met yet!'' 

''Yeah, it's kinda awkward!''

''You know, now that I think about it, I think you and my primo Camilo would make a cute couple!'' She said teasingly.

''Oh come on! Not you too!'' I wined.

''I'm kidding, I'm kidding!''  She said putting her hands up.

''I haven't even met the guy, why does everyone think I'd be perfect for him?''

''I don't know, but you can find out, if you would stop talking, and keep walking!'' She said.

''Okay, okay, let's go meet this mysterious guy!'' I said continuing to follow Mirabel.
