I walked towards the old house on the hill when suddenly, someone grabbed my arm harshly...

"Ow!", I groaned looking behind me.

It was a woman that looked to be in her 40s or 50s...

"Don't go in there child! There's a dangerous evil creature up there... He isn't very nice either ya know!", she said staring at me.

She stared for about a minute before speaking up.

"Isla...", she whispered.

"Yes... Yes that's me...", I said quietly.

"Don't go up the sweetheart... It's dangerous...", she said before backing away.

I quickly took my chance and ran for it. She screamed at me but I ignore her. I slowly approached the big door and I knocked on it nervously.

There was no response so I decided I would go in. I opened the door slowly and called out...

"Hello! Heeellooo!", I yelled until I noticed some stairs.

I slowly approached the staircase and step by step, the stairs creaked and were covered in dust.

"H-hello...", I said quietly.

I then stepped into the attic. The roof was severely damaged. I saw a small bed and a mirror with different pictures from magazines.

I turned around and saw something moving in the corner of the room. It was really dark so I couldn't make out what it was.

There, before my eyes, was a young man with scars all over his face. I slowly approached him. He got scared and melted into the shadows again.

"It's ok... I mean no harm...", I whispered.

He then walked over to me and stared at me.

"Kim...", he whispered.

"P-pardon?", I asked confused.

"Kim...", he said a little louder.

"I'm sorry, but... Im not who you're looking for...", I said.

He looked at me sadly. He then came closer until he was only inches away.

"Where is she?", he asked with hope in his eyes.

"I... I honestly... Don't know...", I whispered.

"Oh...", he said.

He looked at his feet and I looked at what he was holding... Scissors!

Of course! He is the man that my friend Emily used to talk about. Her grandmother told her story's of him... Edward... Edward his name is...

"Edward...", I whispered.

He looked up at me in surprise.

"Yes?", he asked.

"Is your name Edward?", I asked quietly.

"Yes... It is...", he whispered.

"And I love a girl called Kim...", he continued.

Kim is Emily's grandmother who passed away a few years ago.

"Really?", I sadly asked.

"Yes...", he whispered.

"Why don't you come home with me and I'll make you something...", I said suddenly getting an idea.

"Ok...", was all he said before walking down the stairs with me.

I can't wait to surprise him...
