While Y/n was talking on the phone outside on the apartment balcony, Kwon focused on the gestures she was doing and her body language. From what he could see every few seconds when she passed infront of the door, she was, visibly, very upset.

She had gotten a call from her boss at her waitressing job not long after they had finished eating. The phone started ringing while they were talking about what concept would fit Y/n most.

"I was successfully fired" Y/n said, closing the apartment door.

"Isn't that a good thing?" Kwon asked, tilting his head while Y/n sat on the couch and sighed.

"It is it's just... He kept talking about how I'm incapable of doing anything correctly and how I'll never succeed as an idol and that I'm only a pretty face. He was practically yelling how I'm a useless piece of pretty shit." Y/n said and massaged her forehead.

Kwon got quite offended by that and he immediately jumped up.

"How dare he?!? What a bitch honestly" he walked over to the couch and side hugged Y/n.

"Don't worry Y/n, he's got no idea what he's talking about. You shouldn't listen to him" he said and Y/n gave him a smile and a soft nod, letting him know that she's completely unfazed by what her ex boss had said.

But it was the complete opposite of that. Y/n was extremely shattered by his words. He had said a lot of other, a lot of harsher things to her. And she couldn't help but think... maybe he was right? A lot of people had told her the exact same things, and used a lot of the exact same words. Even people who Y/n thought would never say those things.

"Well then... We have a whole weekend before your start of a new journey! What do you want to do?" Kwon said, taking Y/n out of her train of thoughts.

She turned to face him and gave him a cheekish smile.

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" she said.

"If you're thinking the same thing that I'm thinking then yes i am thinking what you're thinking" Kwon said a smiled back

"AMUSEMENT PARK!!!" they both said in unison .

Going to the amusement park was one of Y/n's favourite activities when she wanted to just go out, relax and have fun. She loved going on all the rides, eating the delicious foods, especially cotton candy, and buying random head accessories like funky sunglasses or cute glowing hats.

Right now her and Kwon decided to take a break from the intense rides and go on the ferris wheel. They were right near the top, still slowly climbing and observing the whole view of the amusement park. Neither of them said anything, they were riding in complete silence.

"Can you promise me one thing?" Kwon said suddenly.

Y/n looked at him and furrowed her eyebrows.

The ferris wheel stopped at the top

"Yeah, I think? Unless it's a promise I can't keep" Y/n said and smiled at Kwon.

Kwon smiled back. "Can you promise that you won't forget me when you become an idol?" Kwon said and Y/n chuckled.

"I already promised you that, silly. Besides, I would never do something that completely crushed me to somebody else. It just doesn't add up if you ask me." she said and gave him a light punch in the shoulder.

"We're not best friends if I'm ready to drop you anytime i need to."she said and Kwon smiled.

This was the first time after he started crushing on her that he didn't get hurt when she called him his best friend. He smiled widely at him self. Good job, Kwon, you're finally getting over her. ~ he thought to himself.

"You're right, thank you" he said, and the ferris wheel started going down.

"Always." she said.

Y/n put a piece of cotton candy in her mouth and groaned as it melted in her mouth. She ADORED cotton candy. Like it was her favourite sweet, favourite snack, probably her favourite food. She knew it was just pure sugar but the fun colours and the fluffienes gave her the illusion that it was so much more.

Kwon chuckled.

"Is it really that good?" he asked as he reached for a peace, but Y/n quickly moved the cotton candy away and quite literally hissed.

"You dare take some of my cotton candy" she said in a prince-like tone.

Kwon raised his hands in the air and Y/n chuckled.

"Here." she said and gave him a piece, still giggling.

Kwon tried it and grimased. He clicked his tongue a few times then swallowed and shook his head.

"How do you even like that? It's just sugar on a stick" he said and Y/n opened her mouth in disbelief.

"I am very disappointed. I don't think we should be friends anymore, Kwon." she said jokingly, then turned around and sassily started walking away.

"Hey!" Kwon said and ran after her.

"What about the promise you made?" he said and put his arm on her shoulder.

She turned around to look at him and smiled, shoving more and more cotton candy in her mouth at once.

Kwon laughed.

"C'mon it's already getting late, you need to rest before your big day tomorrow." Kwon said after checking his watch and reading 7:46pm.

Y/n rolled her eyes.

"Relax, you're talking like it's my first day of high school. I'm not a childdd!" she said and started walking towards the exit of the amusement park.

"Look I'm just saying...You really need to rest, you don't wanna be late" Kwon said and followed her.

"Yeah you're right" she said and they exited the amusement park.

"Hey Kwon?" she said.

"Yeah?"

"Thanks for being here for me. I love you for that" she said and he looked at her. His heart fluttered.

"yeah, always. I love you too" and as he said those 4 words, the romantic feelings he had for her completely started dissolving. He realised how much he cared for her in a platonic way, she was his best friend and like a little sister. He couldn't even bring himself to like her that way again. He was more than happy that he's finally realised it.

A/n ~ I'M BAAACKKK!!!! Sorry this chapter is a little shorter, it was a little rushed, i wanted to make one quickly because this might be the only day i can write because of school and all of my school work 😴.
