Hey everyone. (: I haven't written in awhile, so I decided I should start. Anyways, I hope you enjoy this. :D I'm really excited about this story.
3rd P.O.V.
Jason nervously tapped his fingertips along the edge of the table as he waited for the doctor to appear in front of him. He glanced around, looking at family members of the patients. He could only imagine what they people here were going through, what had happened to their loved ones.
He sighed, taking a sip of his coffee. Nothing ever seemed right these days. Nothing was right with people, with the world. With life.
He set his coffee down on the table beside him. Out of boredom, he took out his iPhone. No text messages. No voice mails.
It wasn't like those things mattered to him. But if someone actually cared right now, that would give him just a little hope. And hope was one thing he didn't have right now.
He shoved his iPhone back into his pocket. "Fuck this shit." he muttered. He shifted his weight forward in the chair as he saw a doctor approaching him. The doctor was a female. She was definitely Asian, possibly from Japan. She had jet black eyes, and her face was emotionless. No smile, yet no frown. Her long black hair was shoved into a tight pony tail.
"Is she doing any better?" Jason asked, scanning the room.
The Doctor looked at him. "No, she's not. I'm sorry."
The Doctor paused for a minute. She was obviously in deep thought.
"I'm not supposed to do this, since you're not family. But I think we can make an exception." She smirked.
The Doctor just stared at him for a second. "Well, get up. I could get fired for this. So use your time wisely." She said with a small, tired smile.
Jason got out of his chair. He followed the Doctor down a long hallway. They made a left, and there she was.
There his Ali was.
Her short hair covering her face. Her eyes were shut. He wished he could see her gorgeous, light blue eyes right now.
But he couldn't.
Her teary eyed Mom looked up from the chair she was sitting in. "Jason." she said, dabbing her eyes with the Kleenex she had in her hand. "I'm so glad you're here.." She said, then started crying a little more.
"She hasn't...woken up?" He asked with a frown.
"No. She h-h-hasn't." More tears ran down her face.
"I'm so sorry." he said, trying not to look Ali's Mother in the eyes.
She didn't say anything.
After a few seconds of silence, she left the room. "I'll leave you two.." She said softly.
Jason sat at the edge of the hospital bed. He held Ali's stiff, lifeless hand. "Babe.." He whispered, running his other hand up her arm.
He sat there. For the rest of the four minutes, he sat there, staring at her. One tear fell from his eyes. Jason didn't wipe it from his eyes. Sometimes, you just have to cry.
He didn't even realize how much time had passed until the doctor came back in.
He knew he had to leave... yet he didn't want to. But he had to.
Jason looked back at Ali. Then he turned around, and left.

A light. A flashing light. A familiar light. But she couldn't make out what it is.
People. Two...? Three...? Four...? It didn't matter how many people their were. She couldn't make their faces out anyway. They were too far away. Were they looking for her? She spotted a can. She wasn't sure what kind of can it was. A coke can? A beer can?
She was alone, on the ground. She was cold, very cold. What had happened to her green American Eagle sweatshirt?
The wind rustled in the background.
She felt nauseous. But she had to get out of here.. somehow.
The girl tried to get up. Slowly and carefully she did.
She felt like she couldn't stand. She took a step towards the people she had seen.
It was all feeling easier now. The girl felt like she had the hang of it, and started to increase her pace. But as soon as she did, she fell down on the pavement.
And then everything went black.

Jason parked his car outside his friend Trevor's house. He got out of his car. Across the street his 11 year old neighbors were playing a rough game of basketball. Jason turned to them, smiled and waved.
He had always loved seeing kids. Especially kids getting active. Sports and exercise were important to him.
One of the kids waved back. Jason rang Trevor's doorbell. Of course, his sister Katie answered.
"Hey Jase." She said with a flirty smile. Katie had always had a thing for Jason. The only problems was Jason didn't have a thing for Katie. He found Katie slutty and annoying.
"Hi. I was wondering, is Trevor there?"
Katie smiled. "Let me see." She turned around and went into the house for a few seconds.
"Nope." She grinned. "But I'm available, let's go."
"Katie this is kind of urgent and--"
He got cut off. Katie was dragging him into his car. "Keys please." She demanded.
"You can't even drive."
"I have my permit. You're 18. Let's drive." She said.
"I'm actually 17." He muttered.
"So? You'll pass for 18. Now give me your keys."
"No."
"You'll give me your keys." She whispered in his ear and snatched his keys out of his pocket.
He sighed and slumped into his seat. He didn't know where they were going.
But he knew it was going to be exactly the last place he wanted to be.
