One of my favorite parts of writing is designing the characters, so here are the first two! (Smaller characters will be edited into this as they are introduced) There is a spoiler in this but I'm sure you could guess just from the blurb. I'm not great with description scenes (I always forget to add them) but I'll try to include a few so that you don't need to look at these to know what they look like. None of these drawings are mine, just stuff I found on Pinterest.

He's had his snakebite piercings since he was 14, and the tattoos are an ongoing project. He works at "Saber Tattoo Parlor" (a fictional place, also I have changed the name of it too many times I can't settle on anything), owned by his uncle. He loves music, and constantly has headphones (covered in sharpie drawings) either on his head or around his neck.

@kkumrii on Twitter Wren (deadname Esme) | he/him Wren first met Alban in kindergarten, and they were inseparable for thirteen years until he moved to Los Angeles right out of high school to marry Spencer, his high school sweetheart. Two years later, Wren realized he was trans and they got a divorce soon after. After six months of barely getting by, he moved back to his hometown of Royalton. He recently got a job at a small coffee shop called Tienda De Café (to any Spanish speakers- is the de supposed to be capitalized or not? Also I know that it isn't original, don't even say anything). Wren is naturally blonde, but he has dyed it black ever since he was 19.
