The flames were engulfing all the bush land around my worried neighbourhood. The flames were as red as velvet. All the paddocks were burned down to nothing. The fire has been going for three days and it's still out of control. I had to bring my four scared horses up to where my house was; their stable had been burned down. I stood there,in my house, holding my four year old sister (April) in my shaking arms. My twin sister (Bethany) and six year old sister (Haylee) were right beside me. We were watching in horror as our Mum, Dad and fifteen year old sister (Brittany) were fighting the blaze. A hose in each of their hands, drenching everything in water so that it would hopefully prevent any flames attacking our house. 'Bella, I'm scared,' April whispered in my ear. My heart sunk when she said that, the problem was, was that I couldn't help her, I was as scared and frightened as she was. All of a sudden Brittany stared running towards the house. Dad told her to call the fire department and tell them that the fire is getting closer to homes- they were fighting the blaze in another area. Before I could say a word, they were there, sprinting through our house telling us to open our side gate. We were frozen, only I managed to move from my position and through them the keys. Bethany was shaking while holding Haylee. Brittany quickly took Haylee of her and placed her gently on the ground. Bethany collapsed in Brittany's arms. 'Beth! Wake up! It's ok, it's ok,' Brittany reassured her. 'Britt, are you sure?' I asked worriedly. 'N-yes,' she stuttered. Now I was really scared. Just in case, I quickly put April down and steadied myself. 'You okay Bell?' asked Brittany. 'Y-y-y-yeah,' I responded, I wasn't sure of myself. But I managed to pull myself over to Bethany. With a sudden gasp, she woke up.
