Wings
The night seemed normal, they ate, Paimon was asleep, and Aether seemed tired as always. But what could a peaceful night of sleep do to someone? If anything it would help that person, so they went to sleep peacefully. But this is the travelers life! There had to be something going on other than constant nightmares.
On with the story.
The night was cold, even when the curtains were closed you could still feel it, it was abnormal.
The traveler felt hot, he oddly couldn't lay on his back, if he did he would feel an immense pain. As if a bone in his body was being crushed.
It became more extreme, it felt horrible. But it would stop eventually.. right?
So with that Aether just brushed it off like he does with his wounds that look like a shooting star from a banner hit teyvat and made a valley.
But then it got to that part.
Aether's body shot up, translucent blades that protruded from his back could be seen, blood curdling screams that alerted everyone in the inn could be heard from miles away, blood trickled down his back being guided by his spinal cord that could be seen through his skin.
And then people came rushing in, Xiao, Verr Goldet, and people that wanted to see what was going on.
Paimon was obviously awake crying trying to comfort the traveler unable to bare his screams of agony (do you get the fanfic reference?)
They were confused, worried and curios.
They finally snapped back into reality and rushed to call a doctor.
The expensive sheets simply made for the traveler were ruined stained in beautiful crimson blood.
The people who were watching were instructed to leave immediately, but there were this that were too stubborn to listen, they got threatened by the yaksha.
Seconds, minutes, hours, pass the hours eventually turn into days, and days turn into weeks.
The beloved traveler had been in a coma for 2 weeks.
This of course worried a lot of people,in fact multiple people visited every day.
But did the traveler ever awaken?
