SPECIFIC PEOPLE:

Protagonist:

Jestin T-043* (Jestin - Welsh name meaning Justice)

- T refers to the section of the mall; 043 refers to the store in which their family rents sleeping space.

- * refers to their status as a minor

MeicCai-R027*: A fellow Resident that Jestin-T043 meets at a Fridays Fries-Yay sale event, when both are looking for a quiet place to hide. MeicCai-R027 has similar struggles, but dies much earlier in the Custodial Corps TRD, their body abandoned in the Garbridge where they met their end. MeicCai-R027 is the Myccos who finds Jestin-T043 & brings other Myccos to help bring them back before they die.

Aneurin B-01; Aka: Mr. Authority; ( Aneurin - Welsh name meaning 'honor')

Job Title: Food Court Judge

One of the mythical few Custodial Corps servicemembers who served the full 30 years. He served some of those years off and on in TRD, helping to make up for recruitment shortages. He has unaddressed trauma from his time there, which he pushes down in order to live up to his reputation. His experiences have taught him the importance of safety, and of ensuring everyone is treated equally – something that others will often ignore in favor of earning a little extra through grift.

He is everything one could want in an old soldier. And he has an unwavering commitment to fairness. - no perks for him that no one else gets; but the things he is willing to do are very harsh, and he has no empathy for people for whom this is too much; further, because food shortages are such a problem, he has plenty of justice to dispense as those on the margins do what they need to survive.

Mr. Authority is widely respected because he's the real deal; he is harsh but fair; unrelenting - but not going out of his way to squash someone who hasn't broken rules. His presence has helped to stabilize the political situation, and to prevent unrest. And those who know him personally will vouch - no, he really does care and he does believe in fairness above all. His is a duty that he is both proud to undertake, and hopeful that will one day be unnecessary. Until then, he will lay out the law and control the situation, and he will not abuse his place to skim off perks like many others in charge are rumored to.

The Mega Mall is limited in what it can produce, but through high technology they have the basics covered.

Bwyd = Food

Bwyd a fwyd: Meals (Literally: A meal of food)

- Uwd madarchen = Mushroom porridge with lots of betys monerch, bresychêl ffon, sun oil, and sparing amounts of sliced potato, salt, & herbs. While few Residents get close enough to dirt to know what it tastes or smells like, they would recognize it from the flavor and smell of uwd madarchen.

- Sglodi-fries: salted, fried potato slices. Very thick cut chunks.Viewed in Bawb-a-pop as a measure of economic success; so long as the occasional Free Fries Fri-Yay keeps happening, many are still willing to entertain the idea that Mall Management is making progress.

- Nos-shade (Hybrids forced together to produce potatoes on the bottom, and
