Getting Caught

Diana's POV

"Who are you and what are you doing here." She asked, her face starting to turn red.

"N-nothing." I said as I just tried to walk away. But she caught my hand.

By then Zayn came.

"Morning bab-" He started but stopped when he saw me.

"Zayn, do you know who this is?" Perrie asked raising and eyebrow.

"No. How am I supposed to be knowing?" He said confidently.

"Get out quickly." She said as I hurried out of the house.

10 minutes later

I just entered the house at 5:30 am. Max was asleep on the couch. Wait? On the couch? He hates sleeping on the couch. Then I realized that he must have waited for me the night before.

I tiptoed towards the stairs so that I don't wake up Max, but he woke up.

"Hey Diana, where were you?" He asked.

"I was at Amber's house. I got a bit too drunk last night so I slept in Amber's car itself so then I ended up sleeping at her house."

"Oh so I'm guessing that's how you got the love bite on your neck." He said calmly.

I ran my hand on my neck and realized that I had a hickey.

"No...I mean..." I could't find words to say.

"Don't lie to me!" He yelled.

I backed off. I got so scared.

"I-I am n-not lying." I lied.

"Oh yeah then explain this!" He took out his phone and showed me a picture of me and Zayn kissing at the party. "It's all over the internet!"

"I'm sorry, Max. I was drunk." I said without looking him in the eye.

"That's not my problem! You went for the party last night, you kissed him. Then why weren't you home after that?" He yelled.

"Max please calm down." I said softly.

"Don't ask me to calm down!" He shouted as he grabbed my wrist. "Look at me! Tell me what happened!"

I slowly lifted my head to look at him. Then I told him everything.

"Are you kidding me?!?!" He shouted. Then he took a deep breath and said, "You know what, I'm not gonna waste my time on you. I haven't slept properly last night. I'm gonna sleep. Don't come and disturb me." With that he walked upstairs to our bedroom.

Now I just couldn't control it. I sat on the couch, put my head in my hands and started sobbing.
