(TW: self-harm)

After Callisto finished eating he quickly hopped off the chair giggling to himself as he went and hid wanting to play hide 'n seek without telling mommy they were playing.

He hid under his bed giggling his tail wagging. Mommy looked around but didn't see where the small demon went. "Puppy?" she called which made him giggle more.

"Come find me!" he shouted his voice echoing around the apartment.

Mommy smiled letting out a small chuckle before she started her search. She checked the kitchen, bathroom, the dim room, and hers before hearing him giggle again. She walked into his bedroom and looked around before seeing part of his tail sticking out from under the bed. "Where oh where could my baby boy be?" she hummed making Callisto giggle more.

She walked to his dresser and opened it. "Nope not here," she went to the closet. "Hm not here either." once again there was a giggle. "Hm where did my little boy go?" she smiled as she walked over to the bed.

Callisto was watching her legs get closer and that's when he darted out from under the bed and went to run but she swooped him up. "There he is!" she declared Callisto in a fit of giggles.

Mommy set him down and fixed his glasses before booping him on the nose. Callisto's tail was wagging like mad he had never had so much fun. "Did you have fun puppy?" Mommy cooed, a blush ran across his ash-colored skin as he nodded. "Good." she smiled ruffling his hair.

"Mommmmmy!" he whined swatting her away.

She just laughed which caused him to pout puffing his cheeks out slightly. "I can't help it baby your just so cute." she smiled before holding out her hand. "Come on it's time for your session." she cooed.

Callisto's ears lowered and his brows furrowed he stomped his feet in protest. "I don't wanna!" he whined his grown-up thoughts returning. He stumbled a bit his eyes focusing and unfocusing. Mommy noticed this and frowned.

"Baby are you okay." she went to pet him but he smacked her away.

"Stop! I don't want this!" he yelled looking up at her with tears in his eyes. She could see the mental battle going on in his head. She had to think fast before he fully came back.

"Come here puppy it's okay Mommy won't hurt you." she cooed at him but it only made him angrier.

"Fuck off!" he screamed before running and before she could grab him and was out the door.

"Shit.." she mumbled before calling in the guards to get him back.

...

Callisto was panting his mind was a broken mess as he hid in a storage closet. He was gripping his hair so tightly he was pulling strands out. His eyes were wide as he kept disassociating unable to keep his mind straight. He began scratching his right arm he wasn't even aware his claws were out he didn't notice the blood dripping down his arm and onto the floor.

Mommy was pacing back in the apartment trying to figure out what set him off. She heard her phone rigging and she quickly picked up. "Did you find him?!" she said immediately.

"This is Mr. Wing. What happened?" Mr. Wing said his tone neutral.

"Somehow his mind started breaking out of the hypnosis and he ran off before I could grab him. He hasn't left the B floor so we're trying to find him." Mommy said her voice in distress.

Mr. Wing was silent for a moment. "We need to use stronger tapes..." he mumbled before hanging up.

Callisto was getting lightheaded but was still unaware of what he was doing. He heard the sound of the guard's armor coming down the all which caused his heart to jump into his throat as he curled up into the corner even more crying softly.

Eventually, the guards came into the room and were surprised at the sight. Callisto was covered in blood and tears, his glasses were missing, his hair disheveled, and he was curled up in a corner shaking like mad small whimpers escaping.

The leader held up his hand telling the others to stay back. He took his helmet off and set it down as he slowly approached the demon. "Hey there buddy," he said in a gentle tone kneeling down to him but kept distance.

Callisto looked at the blurry figure in front of him whimpering. "Your mommy is really worried about you," he said coming a little closer where Callisto could see him clearly.

One of his ears twitched as he cowered. "Hey it's okay we're not going to hurt you." the guard smiled which helped put Callisto at ease a bit. The guard held out his hand which Callisto stared at for a moment before slowly taking it. The guard helped him to his feet.

Callisto was immediately lightheaded and close to throwing up. "It's okay bud where going to take you home." the guard said as he began to lead Callisto back to the apartment.

Callisto was hugging himself the guard had his hands on both his shoulders to guide him.

They eventually made it back and knocked on the door. Mommy opened it quickly a sigh of relief escaped. "Oh thank God," she breathed. Callisto's eyes slowly met hers. He was tired and lightheaded.

"Let's get him into bed so I can start fixing him up," she said allowing the guard inside as he kept Callisto close so he didn't fall.

They sat him on the bed. "Get better buddy." the guard said before leaving Callisto barely registered what was going on.

"Let me see your arm sweetie." Mommy cooed gently trying to get his attention before touching him. He looked at her, his eyes dull and listless which told her he wasn't all there. She smiled at him before slowly taking his arm so she could look at it.

There were deep gashes in his arm that were still bleeding freely. "I'll be right back okay?" she said before running to the bathroom and grabbing the first aid kit. She came back in hoping he had stayed on the bed. Thankfully he had.

She kneeled in front of him and slowly started to clean and stitch up his arm before wrapping it up. "There we go baby." she hummed rubbing his cheek which he leaned into. "Let's get you in the bath so we can get the blood off of you yeah?" she said gently before watching him nod.

She gently picked him up carrying him to the bathroom he was having trouble staying awake his body telling him to sleep so it could start to get better. "Mm..." he groaned softly his eyes heavy.

"I just need you to stay awake a bit longer lovely." Mommy cooed setting him in the tub before taking his clothes off.

She ran a warm bath but didn't fill it too far only trying to wash the blood off. Callisto was drifting in and out of consciousness.

After she got all the blood off she checked her cabinet for anything that would help him get better. She found a syringe that helped demons' blood replenish faster. She sighed in relief. "Okay baby small pinch okay?" she said taking his left arm and finding a good vein to stick the medicine in.

There was a small groan from Callisto. "I know honey but this will help make you better faster," she said petting him gently before drying him up and dressing him in an oversized black hoodie and sleeping shorts putting soft black knee-highs on him. She picked him back up and carried him to his bed laying him down, tucking him in.

"There we go baby boy rest now," she said giving him a small kiss on the forehead watching his eyes flutter close.
