Next morning
Mom I'm fine I said as she kept blabbering on the phone about if I'm okay and talking about staying safe and that there's dangers out there yata yata etc. She was always this protective even now considering that I'm 20 years old I can handle myself! I know I know that's what mom's do because they love us but phew! They don't have to keep nagging you!
After i hung up the phone I kept thinking about that dream i had yesterday so,After I got off the phone with my mom I decided I would go for a little morning jog to get my mind off that horrid dream. I slipped some grey jogging pants on and a black loose fitted crop top and put my ear buds In, and grabbed a water bottle and headed outside .

I started listening to smooth up beat like jazz and started humming the tune to my most favorite song "stars". I closed my eyes to the cool morning breeze and the smooth soothing jazz. I opened my eyes and went to cross the street and a car was coming 50 miles per hour! I screamed and shut my eyes tight ready for the impact of the car to hit me but instead I was swooped up in what felt like a pair of strong arms.

"Didn't your mother ever teach you to look both ways before you crossed the street" he said in annoyance and rolled his eyes
I opened my eyes and saw the most gorgeous man with dirty blonde hair like and it stopped almost past his broad shoulders.He was muscular and he had the most beautiful mint green eyes that sparkled in the sun light.he had cold pale skin and don't even get me started on the cheek bones he was like a guy you would only dream of.
I guess he saw me staring because I heard him smirk
I didn't care tho I had thousands of questions racing through my mind how did he get across the street so fast??? Why did he save me?? Was he- my thoughts were interrupted when he spoke.

A simple thank you would be nice he said cockily

"Bloody Humans he said rolling his eyes don't even know how to say thank you he mumbled to the point were I couldn't hear him

Are you going to go on about this all day he said in a deep voice as be interrupted my questions
I immediately melted at the sound of his deep voice it was so sexy and exotic it seemed to me that English wasn't his first language but he spoke it very well.
Well what is your name then? I asked as politely as I could
Next thing I knew he was very close. to close infact. how did he manage to get close so fast wasn't he just standing five feet away?

He sent chills down my spine his warm breath on my ear,my stomach was filled with butterflies.He lightly touched my chin and the last thing he said was "we will meet again"and he was gone.
:Later that day:
Grace I'm telling you I said pacing back and forth he wasn't like an ordinary guy HE SAVED ME FROM A SPEEDING CAR THERE IS NO WAY ANYONE COULD HAVE SAVED ME THAT CAR WAS GOING WAY TO FAST
Grace was my best friend since 3rd grade we been through a lot together and we tell each other everything she's like a sister to me, and a second mother all in one haha!
"Ok ok I understand but why do you have to yell she chuckled
I'm sorry I just- I just don't get it then the last thing he said to me was "we will meet again
Apart of me wants to see him again and another part of me is saying stay away from him ughh!
"Ok now that's weird" she said eating popcorn and smacking on it

She started laughing and put on the TV
I'll be back I need to get some air and with that I went outside on the porch
I just moved here in Chicago and already weird things are happening to me I sighed to myself

I jumped and looked around but didn't see anyone.I turned around to run inside but shadow figure in the corner caught my eye
Your mother was right about dangers you should have listened to her" he said moving closer to me and I stepped back
He stepped out of the shadows and It wasn't aslon but it was a guy with icy blue eyes and pale skin
W-who a-are you I said shakily backing up into the wall

I was minding my own business when I smelled a sweet scent..of blood.I immediately turned around ready to attack but something was stopping me from killing her and drinking her blood no one was around but what was stopping me?.She was beautiful and she seemed quite different from all the women I've seen in all my years which is a long time.I saw that she walked across the street without looking at the car coming from around the corner 50 miles per hour.When she did see it she stopped in her tracks horrified and screamed and closed her eyes tight waiting for the car to hit her. I was fighting debating on if I should save her or let her learn her lesson as I fought back in forth with myself I finally made up my mind before it was to late stupid human I groaned to myself I used my super speed ability and swooped her up and brought her to the other side of the side walk before she got hit.
I stood over her and she still had her eyes shut tight but then opened them when she realized she was still alive she examined me and blushed a little bit and I smirked.

She kept asking questions about why I saved her and how I got here so fast all that etcetera."are you going to talk about this all day i said kind of with an attidue i could tell that she was still in shock because her heart was racing. she asked me my name and i whisperd it in her ear so she'll hear me clearly. I could feel her heart race increase and her palms started sweating. I chuckled and lifted her chin up
