"M...Mum? Dad? they should of been home by now..." A 15 year old girl would think out loud wondering why her parents aren't home.
*Knock knock*
"Huh... who's that I wonder?" The girl would wonder while looking out the door peephole seeing two police officers
"U...Um hello? what can I help you with? The girl would ask the officers
The first officer would look at his partner before turning back to the girl "Are you B H any chance?... what a strange name..." the officer muttered before getting elbowed by his partner
"U...Um yes... may I ask why you are here" B H responded as the officer took a big breathe
"I...I am so sorry to inform you... your parents, have sadly passed in a plane crash a few days ago..."
B H stood frozen in shock before laughing... which made the officers nervous "This is some sick joke right...? My family were always like this... Mum, Dad come out please... this joke isn't even funny this time.... Mum... Dad?..." B wanted to believe her parents were playing a sick joke and that the officers were just some of there friends in disguise.
"I'm so sorry... it is no sick joke... the plane had crashed and... around 300 lives were claimed but one... somehow an old man survived..." the officer looked down as B looked at him then his partner and fell onto her knees
"No... No.. your lying... you have to be lying...." B's body started to shake as tears ran down her face... then a scream of pain was heard all around the neighbourhood.
A few weeks go by
B stood emotionlessly as she stared into her parents graves
"Hey mum, dad... I just wanted to let you know that I am moving out of Australia to Japan... it doesn't feel right anymore... being here, I am sorry I may not be able to visit but I will try... that is a promise, also I love you a lot, I wish I could of said that word so many times more, I realized... you don't know how much you love someone till they are gone... I should get going now my flight is tomorrow.
B would start walking off but felt as if someone placed there hands on her shoulders, she'd turn back seeing no one but thought she heard two people saying I love you back, she'd tear up before turning back and walked off so she can get ready for her big move to Japan.
Next day
"Are you sure you don't want to stay with me... you could cancel your flight while you still have time and come back..." A elder woman would say as tears fell from her eyes
"Nan... I am doing this so I can move on... So I can start my own life... no restart.. It hurts to be here a bit..." B Would turn to her Nan as she says
"I know... but at 15... you could live with me it... feels so wrong letting you go at this age" B's Nan would respond
"...I understand and I understand your concern... but I will be fine and that is a promise" B would turn around to her grandmother "Even though I will be far, I will always remember and love you" as B would hug her Nan
"Flight 08 to Tokyo is now letting passengers board"
"I suppose that is me... I love you Nana" B would hug her Grandmother one last time "and I love you too my granddaughter.. stay safe and come back home anytime... you will always be welcomed" B's Nan would smile letting go of the hug and watching her granddaughter go and board the plane before more tears come down
Inside the plane
"So, this is my new adventure in life now huh... wonder where it will take me..." B wondered out loud while starring outside the window as the plane prepared to take off into the sky and is hoping that her parents are watching her go.
B would watch as many cities go by and the countryside would pass by... "I should be there in like 10 hours? well that's how long I thought it may take, Hopefully I can find a good place to live in"
B would stare out the window before she slowly started to fall asleep in her seat.
