Chapter 6: A way out!

"You know, I had almost forgotten about that door." Firefox said while looking at the roof.

"What do you mean?" Google said shockingly.

"That means you do know something about it, right?" I shouted.

"Of course I do son, I was the one who created that door in the first place...ah I used to be young back then." Firefox said with a sigh.

"Old memories!" he continued.

At the moment, my mind was a whirlpool of questions, all jumbled up. I didn't know where to start.

"But why did you make it? For whom? And most importantly where does it lead to." My belly grumbled as soon as I said these words.

"Take it easy son, I'll answer each of your questions, first you need to eat something."

"But I can't eat your food. I am a human not an app like you... I need water, vegetables, fruits..."

"You talk a lot, son. By the way as far as I know you don't need any of those."

"What do you mean? And yeah don't call me "son" it is irritating." I said while moving my eyes away.

Google started laughing.

"Ok, ok just come with me." Firefox stood up and started walking out of the room. I and Google followed.

It was surely a huge house because we continuously walked straight for about 10 minutes or was it just us walking slowly because of Firefox?

"By the way, where are we going?" I asked in a slow tone.

No one replied. I looked at Google, who hunched telling me that he didn't know either. Soon Firefox stopped in front of a room and as I was walking right behind him, I crashed right into his back.

"Sorry" I uttered quickly. Firefox ignored.

Then I took notice of the area, it was a laboratory with some unusual stuff in it. All of us went it.

"You guys stay here, I'll be back" Firefox said.

Google and I nodded. Firefox went to the furthest corner of the lab and opened a closet, like he was looking for something. One by one he started opening each closet until he reached the last one. As soon as he opened it, a smile lit his face.

"Who's the boss here? I am." Firefox shouted as he turned towards us.

Google and I exchanged looks.

Firefox took something out of that closet, cleaned it and then brought it to me.

"Here you go." He said with a big smile.

"What's this?" Google and I said at the same time.

"Jinx" I said quickly while looking at Google.

"What?" Google asked suspiciously.

"You don't know what Jinx is? Never mind." I said to Google disappointedly.

"So what is this thing? I continued as I turned towards Firefox.

"Remember, I told you before that you don't need to eat or drink anything."

"Yeah so."

"This device is the secret to it." Firefox said with a smile.

"I didn't get it." I said confusingly.

"This device will make your mind active and fresh again, in other words, it will give you the same energy that food gives you... you just have to put this device against your heart and push this button." He showed me how.
