Reverb's omega journey!

New friends

After getting a pokèmon, Reverb decided to continue on her journey in Hoenn.
Route 101 was her next step.
After encountering a wurmple,
Aw Ree thought it was adorable until- Toasty used ember on the poor worm..
And it died..in one hit
That was slightly worrying for Reverb

(Reverb's pov)

"G-Good job, Toasty!" I laugh awkwardly, very afraid

Toasty chirped happily at me

I smiled at his enthusiasm again
And after a guy from the mart telling me some useful stuff, i headed to route 103
I think i see Brenden!

I ran up to him

He was talking about random stuff

"Hey Reverb! Ohhh. So you finally got a Pokèmon from my dad?"

I nod "yeah!"

"How about a battle?" He asks

"Sure."

He does a cool pose

He sends out a mudkip while i send out Toasty

"Use ember, Toasty!" I command my starter

It's not very effective
Hm..

His Mudkip uses tackle in return

"Hm..use Scratch!"

Big damage!

Toasty is getting low..

"Use growl to lower his attack!"

Toasty growls at the mudkip

"Scratch!"

"Tackle!"

"Use scratch again, Toasty!" I yell

The mudkip faints

Whew..that was close..almost lost Toasty..

But we won!

"Huh. You're not too shabby, Reverb." Brenden says smiling sheepishly

"Woooo!"

"It was a good battle, Thanks!" He exclaimed

"Here! Lemme heal up both our parties real quick.."

"I think i know why my dad had his eye on you now."

Blah blah time to head back to the lab.

I pick up my hot bird in my arms
"Come on, you scamp."
I begin to run back to the lab with my birb and without a minute passing, i made it back to little root town..?
And the lab, i head in the lab

More talking...

I mentally snore

A pokèdex?
Cool.

And Brenden gave me some Pokèballs!
Again cool.
I leave the lab

Finally i get Pokèballs.

I get new friends!

Oh sick, Brenden updated my dexnav

"Oo thanks Brendan."

He shakes his head "no prob, Ree." He says before running off

Ree? No one has..

A Zigzagoon!

I ready my pokèball

"Go Pokèball!" I throw it at the goon

I got it!

Wooo! I jump for joy

Now..what to name him..

"Randy the Zigzagoon, how does that sound?" I crouch down to my new friend's level

He makes a excited noise

I nod, smiling "good, welcome to the team, Randy!"

With my new friend i-

Brenden?-

"Hey Reverb! Over here!"

I walk over to him

"See that? Right there? There's a tail sticking out! There's a pokèmon hiding there!"

"You're right.."

We step closer to the tail

Sneaky time

I sneak towards the tail

"Woah! It's the same thing that attacked the professor..better be careful.."

"Use scratch!"

It howled in return

Err..

"Pokèball go!" I throw the ball at the dog

Yes! Another friend!

"Now..what to name you..it's a girl? Hm..Mio. I'll name you Mio." I smile at her

She bites my hand

Ow!

"That wasn't very nice.."
