Here's Naruto's age difference in each chapter, while it seems unnecessary as age hardly matters in Arknights, but since I'm adding some elements of the Naruto series like chakra and whatnot. Annnnd~ given that some Jonins in the Naruto series were child soldiers, age makes no difference whatsoever... I don't know what I'm talking about aren't I?
Let's just get into today's chapter, shall we?
Naruto's Age
Five Years Old - Orphanage
Six Years Old - Training with Jiraiya
Nine Years Old - Three Years Time Skip

"Alright kid, Let's call this a day and tomorrow we'll resume your training." Jiraiya looked over to his student who was gasping for air. Naruto's legs were shaking uncontrollably as his training with the legendary sannin was no easy task. They have been training since this morning without breakfast (Jiraiya lied on that part), he was tired, low on chakra, and almost thought he was going to die under Pervy Sage's so-called training.
Primarily they were focusing on his taijutsu, doing a bunch of strikes, blocks, dodges, counters and avoiding counters. Jiraiya said once he gets it down and pieces everything together, he can create his own unpredictable fighting style, which involves him to strategize his opponent, coming up with battle plans, and observing any signs of weakness. He struggles during his first day learning taijutsu, but gets it down in weeks, he's still a bit slow with his movements and knows if he wants to take down Pervy Sage, he needs to do more than just pure taijutsu and strategizes to take him down.
Next was genjutsu to help him break through illusions, Genjutsu can be used to manipulate others - similar to brainwashing - by feeding the victim illusive suggestions. It is deemed the most dangerous because strong users can trap victims from long distances. However there is also a downside, genjutsu rarely employed, most ninjas preferring the real, tangible effects of ninjutsu and taijutsu over the imagined effects of genjutsu which hold little influence over the physical world.
The reasoning behind Jiraiya is teaching him genjutsu and how to break them is simple, there might be time where he'll have to face rouge ninjas somewhere down the line, ninjas are usually living in Higashi, but there were large numbers of ninjas gone rouge during the battle of Ursus and Higashi. So he is unaware how many ninjas still exist in the world.
So far his training with genjutsu proved to be his weakest and most difficult task at hand, as he sucked at it and breaking out of the hold is no easy feat, but he'll get the hang of it soon enough.
If he can't master either of these jutsu's, he'll improvised it in his own unique way. Jiraiya sometimes tends to underestimate him during training, so he focuses solely on dirty tricks and tactics to gain the upper hand, it's like what Jiraiya said... Ninjas don't play fair. It sometimes gets results... and without food for the last couple of weeks.
His shadow clones were doing their side on mastering the Chidori, he quickly added lightning elements into the Chidori with ease, but it also felt unstable, unsafe, and incomplete. Jiraiya has said it almost rivaled the Rasengan but not really as the former has more destructive force behind it, while the Chidori on the other hand is more of an assassination jutsu meant to pierce through his opponent, he shutters to think what happens if the Rasengan and Chidori would ever clashed against each other...
