I've been overthinking a lot these days, it's mostly about when Richie isn't texting me or when I'm not with Richie but these past few days it's been even worse. The other night I was calling Richie and it was going ok like just a normal call with Richie, but then he brought up Beverlys party this weekend, and ofc I was gonna go I'm Beverly's best friend and everyone is going.

Time skip

I was getting ready for the party and I was so excited! omg I'm gonna have so much fun tonight! Everyone is gonna be there- then I heard a knock on my door, "come in!" My mom came in the room "where are you going?" Asked my mom "just going to Beverlys house!" I said in an excited tone "oh sweetie I hate to ruin your plans but we have to go to that family reunion.." (pretend sonia is a good mom) oh shit I totally forgot about that "mom do I have to go?" "Yes you do, I mean your just going to Beverlys you could always hang out some other time?" Oh shit I can't tell her about the party "fine." I said in a blunt tone, she kinda just nodded and left the room ugh stupid family reunion! I got out my phone and texted Beverly.

eddie:Hey bev could u tell Richie I'm not coming to the party anymore? I'm so sorry I had to be somewhere and I had totally forgotten about it

Bev: yea ofc and have fun bestie!

I turned off my phone and decided to drive my mom to the reunion.

My aunts house is soooo boring! All you see is parents fighting about stupid shit like bills and politics and stupid children running around. I was looking at everyone's storys that party is probably so fun.. wait Richie hasn't texted me or said anything to me about the party.. I'm gonna text him

bev: then I asked him if u guys were still together and he said u guys weren't..
