Oversimplified WW2 Part 1 (Second half)

[V]: Not to be outdone, Mussolini also wanted to get in on the action.

Littorio: Don't let me down, Mr Mussolini.

[V]: He thought to himself, 'Isn't there a not-yet colonised nation somewhere which is so underdeveloped that the people living there would be defending themselves against our tanks with literal bows and arrows and wooden spears?'

*Scene then switches to show the country Mussolini was describing which is Abyssinia*

[V] (Mussolini): 'Oh there is? Fantastic!'

[V]: And so he took it.

Enterprise: Wow. How convenient and lucky for Alter Sardegna.

Jean Bart: Talk about throwing them a bone.

[V]: Italy (Sardegna Empire) also wanted to control the entrance to the Adriatic Sea so they occupied Albania.

Tallinn: Yet another instance of throwing them a bone.

[V]: Then, in another incident that was MAYBE staged by the Japanese, gunfire was exchanged by Japanese and Chinese troops at the Marco Polo Bridge. And the Japanese launched yet another invasion against China (Dragon Empery).

Voice: That was known as the Marco Polo Bridge Incident.

Kaga: I see that our alternate faction isn't afraid to play dirty to get what they want.

Akagi: I agree Onee-sama.

[V]: They swept through Beijing and Shanghai, and then advanced through the Yangtze Valley to China's (Dragon Empery's) then-capital, Nanking.

[V]: It was here that saw the worst of Japan's (Sakura Empire's) shocking atrocities committed against the Chinese people.

Richelieu: It's that Armenian Genocide thing in WW1 all over again, isn't it?

Warspite: Probably even worse. Voice did say that the second war will be much, MUCH worse than the first one so we should prepare ourselves for the worst of the worst.

*silent pause*

[V]: Back in Europe, Germany (Iron Blood) and Italy (Sardegna Empire) made their relationship status official by signing the Pact of Steel.

Graf Zeppelin: So, Alter Sardegna returned back to its former ally after betraying them in WW1?

Littorio: They got cheated by Alter lane and since they share the same goal with Alter Blood, they decide to ally themselves again to get back at Alter Lane.

[V]: Then, Hitler turned his eyes towards Poland and the hated Polish Corridor splitting Germany (Iron Blood) in two.

Hornet: Yet another country about to be invaded and annexed.

[V]: At this point, the Allies (Azur Lane) really had to put their foot down.

Jean Bart: Wow. Alter Lane actually finally decided to do something other than trying to negotiate for peace.

Ping Hai: After millions of lives were lost...

[V]: And they warned him that an invasion of Poland would mean war. Hitler had planned to continue his advance eastward, but he didn't want to end up fighting a war on two fronts. So he made an alliance with Stalin, saying, 'How about we both invade Poland and split it between the two of us and I definitely won't not refrain from not betraying you sometime in the future.'
