𝐍𝐎 𝐎𝐍𝐄 expected the death of princess Laena Valeryon, she was a compassionate princess so it was a terrible event for everyone. Even through Daenaera didn't had the opportunity of meet the princess, she heard fascinating things about her.

"We join today as the Seat of the sun, to commit the lady Laena of House Velaryon to the eternal waters, the dominion of the Merlin King where he will guard her for all the days to come. As she sets to sea of her final voyage, the lady Laena leaves two true-born daughters on the shore. Though their mother will not return from her voyage, they will all remain bound together in blood. Salt courses through Velaryon blood. Ours runs thick. Ours run true. And ours must never run thin"

Vaemond's eyes were on Rhaenyra and her children. He doubted about Laenor being the father of the young kids, just like everyone did. He cared about the Velaryon blood more than anything, even if it was offensive to someone.

When Daemon noticed this he started laughing out loud, wich made everyone turn their look to see him. Daenaera couldn't understand why whas he laughing, there was nothing funny about this situation, at least not something she could understand. It almost look like he was trying to distract Vaemond.

"My gentle niece. May the winds be as strong as your back, your seas as calm as your spirits, and your nets be as full as your heart. From the sea we came. To the sea we shall return." Vaemond continued, ignoring Daemon's laugh.

People around began talking about how wonderful the princess was, even if they didn't had a chance to know her.
And the stone fell, the lady was now on the sea, and she will be there forever. There will no be a sign of her anymore.

Deanaera kept silence all the time, no matter how much she tried to ignore it, she saw some people giving some looks to her hair, some even starred at her directly.

"Have you seen your father?" Rhaenyra asked looking at Daenaera, who only denied with her head. Rhaenyra sighed and looked around, her look in Daemon almost all the time. "Your little cousins have lost their mother. They could use a kind word." Rhaenyra said to the children, while her hands were caressing Jace's hair. "I have an equal claim of simpathy." Jacaerys spoke turning his look to his mother. "Jace.." Daenaera tried to stop her little brother, who was only a few years younger than her. "We should be at Harrenhal, mourning Lord Lyonel and Ser Harwin." The prince mumbled. Rhaenyra immediatly turned around for making sure no one listened what prince Jacaerys just said. "It would not be appropiate." She said. "The Velaryons are our kin and The Strongs are not. Do you understand?" She spoke back at the young prince who only nodded, walking towards his cousins. Who were sitting in the edge crying. Daenaera who was older enough to understand what whas happening, didn't said anything. The princess walked towards her uncles. Who were just stand there talking, she didn't wanted to admit that being with Aegon can be funny sometimes.
