Jaylyn Sands is the new girl at South Hills HS.
Jaylyn POV: My first day at a new school. I miss my old friends back home. I live in California now, I used to live in New York. It's a big change and it's going to take me a lot to get over it. My mom died 6 years ago when I was 8. My dad and I moved to California for a new start, also because he got a new job that consists of him working a lot more than he used to. I just woke up and it's 5am. I sit in bed a while and stay on my phone. It's 5:15am and now I'm going to go get in the shower. I get out of the shower and I have a text from my bestfriend back in New York.
Lily: hey stranger i miss u so much don't make any new friends lol im jk u need friends! make new friends but don't forget about me ilysm!
She is always there for me and makes me so happy. I reply back with a simple
Me: thank u babe! lol luv u
I get dressed. Today I dress up but not too much. I'm wearing high waisted shorts and a black v-neck. I straighten my long blonde hair like I always do and put on powder and mascara. I go downstairs and my dad is all ready and reading the newspaper while drinking coffee. I make myself a bowl of cereal and toast. Sometimes I get a nice breakfast and sometimes I don't eat at all. I put on my gray vans and grab my bag. I walk out to the bus stop and wait about 2 minutes, until a tall boy with brown eyes and brown hair approaches me. He's so beautiful. I want to get to know him already. "Hey, I'm Cameron Dallas. Are you new? I've never seen you." He says. "Yea, I'm the new girl haha. My name is Jaylyn Sands and I just moved here from New York." I reply. He asks what school I'm going to and I tell him South Hills. He says he goes there and he offered to give me a ride. He has a small black car. Small but comfortable. He drives the both of us to school and when we arrive he quickly gets out and runs over and opens the door for me. What a gentleman. I tell him "thanks." And he smiles and nods his head. We walk up to school and he grabs my hand and his warm touch gives me butterflies. Everyone starts staring and I become uncomfortable. I tell him to let go and he whispers in my ear. "Why would I let go of something so beautiful?" I blush so much I can feel it, his words send warm chills up my spine. I tell him I have to go to the office and find out where my locker is and get my schedule. He tells me he had to go to his locker and get his things. I find my way to the office and get the things I need from the office workers. I see Cameron at his locker but there is a girl with him. They seem so in love with each other. Laughing, just the way they look at each other. It made me feel jealous even though I just met the kid. Something about him was very unforgettable.
