"Mi lady there are some letters for you," my old servant said to me, who was sitting beside the window in her office.
I smiled at her taking the letters and the cup of coffee from her
"You can go madam grace" telling the old lady I took a sip of my coffee analysing the letters. None were interesting, they were all companies asking me to write books for them or represent them by writing an article, and making some other fashion designs ( forgot to tell you hazel is also a designer ) but one letter caught my eye
I opened it and started reading it
Dear Hazel,
I hope you are doing fine in Paris, I don't want to disturb you but Mother has vanished suddenly. It was the morning of my 16th birthday, and she was nowhere to be found.
I am writing this in hope for you to return in a week to Ferndell hall."
Yours sincerely
Enola HolmesI started to worry about the cunning 16-year-old. I finished my coffee and called one of the servants
"Get the earliest train tickets to ferndell hall, we are returning and call madam grace I'll take her with me
I said while packing my bagsThe servant went out of the room to get tickets. Soon after madam grace entered
" my lady what happened"
"Eudora is nowhere to be found, I received Enola's letter, I am worried madam," I said worried
"Sit down my child, it's ok the young teen is smart I'm sure she called you because you are a sister figure to her" madam grace said.
"I know that, I'm just worried about where Eudora goes, but again she always had a reason," I said
After some time my servant came in with the tickets as I got out of my house for a journey to discover
I sat down by the window with madam grace in front of me
"You should sleep hazel, you are really tired I'm sure," madam grace said
" how do you know everything madam," I said smiling
"Raising you since childhood I know a lot, " madam said
I nodded and laid down to sleep
A VOICE WOKE ME UP, I opened my eyes to see madam grace shaking me.
"We are here lady hazel," she said
I sat up confused, so early I thought
I got off the train with madam grace and made my way to my old house in ferndell hall
We both were sitting in the carriage when I saw Enola's house and right next to her was mine.
I smiled at madam grace as old memories came along my head
I remembered those memories when I taught Enola about arrows, chemistry, tennis and most important feminism. Our carriage stopped as I got off the carriage carefully and there I was in front of my house. Even though I didn't spend all my time here, this was still the place where I spent my university vacations.
I went in just to be greeted by other servants who were still here to keep a hand on the household.
"My lady, we will organize your room if there is any problem let me know"
"Oh no, no Frederick but I must say you guys did a good job in keeping it clean," I said taking a look at my old room
I took off my clothes and took a quick shower
After dressing up I grabbed some books Enola asked me to grab from Paris for her.
