You hugged the small pin to your chest as you went back inside the butterfly mansion. Your head was spinning with the fact that an UPPERMOON of all people had given you a gift.

'Wow,' You thought,'I'm extremely lucky that no one was awake'. Until you heard movement from the ward. Of course you had to jinx it. Aoi's head popped out as you hurredly tucked the pin in your pocket. Kokushibo's visit was your secret.

"Y/N! Where were you!? We've been looking all over for you!" She cried, hurrying towards you. You pointed outside, to which she frowned.

"It's night time. You gotta be more careful, Y/N, especially after your encounter with Upper 1, you're still healing, for god's sake" Aoi fussed as she led you back to bed.

"I-I needed... fresh a-air" You whispered. She just shook her head again. Tanjiro and Zenitsu were awake, staring at you. You stiffened as you remembred Tanjiro's sense of smell could smell demons. But it was Zenitsu who spoke up.

"Y/N, your heart's beating faster every second. Are you ok?" You stared at him, to which he bit his lip and hid under the covers. Tanjiro was frowning. But he waited for Aoi and Shinobu to leave before firing you with questions.

"Why do you smell like a demon?" He asked. You took out a Wisteria flower, taken from the tree outside.

"How wo-would... I smell li-like a d-demon?" You shrugged it off. He still looked suspicious of you, though. Then Inosuke snored loud enough to make us all jump.

"Never mind. Must be my nose playing with me..." He said, laying back down. You winced from all the talking.

"All right! Y/N, I think you're good to go!" Shinobu said, taking your bandages off for the last time. You scratched your chin and arm, where they'd been for the last month.

"It feels weird," You said. Shinobu giggled,"Well, I told master you're ready for missions again, so just wait for your crow"

You smiled at her as You picked up your bags and left. The hair clip was attached to your (H/C) fringe, a splash of colour against your hair.

'What is this feeling? I'm not sure whether to like it or not' You thought, fising your hands together. You looked at the wide plains that you were crossing, then at the round moon in the sky. It was almost dusk, but the moon was so bright you could clearly see it, a silver ball of light, hovering in the sky.

"Took you long enough to get out of there"

Arms wrapped around your stomach surprised you, but not who they belonged to. You looked up to see Kokushibo's top eyes looking down at you. You smiled, spinning around to face him. A faint smile tinged his lips.

"I missed you too, dimwit" You laughed, taking his hand as you continued your way. You were waiting for your crow, but for now, you were content, walking with your best friend.

"Y/N, I need to tell you something..." Kokushibo gripped your hand tighter. You looked at him, repressing a wince as his grip kept getting tighter.

"I... I knew you were different scince we met for the first time. I couldn't ki-kill you, I don't-don't know why. But now I do. Y/N, you've made me feel a way that I haven't felt in a hundred years or more"

"I love you"

He pulled at your arm, tugging you right up againt him. Your eyes were shaking, trying to look at all of his at the same time. He smiled, actually smiled, for the first time since you'd met, and proceded to steal your first kiss. Your eyes widened in surprise.

You felt his hands running through your hair, pulling your lips closer to his. When you brokeapart, you were panting.

"I love you too" You say, wiping the blood from your lips where he'd bitten you.

"See you again at dusk. I'll be back to finish what I started"
