"Great, so we lost our food and camping supplies," June said in frustration.

"It's okay we will figure it out," Oakley said and then put the backpack on and started walking. "We need to find a place to sleep as soon as possible so let's get going."

————————————————————

I was really grateful for Oakley right now.

I mean I am always grateful for my siblings but I am especially grateful for Oakley right now.

He had found us a spot to sleep for the night.

It wasn't very nice but it would do.

It was a spot under a large tree.

The branches hung low and made a sort of canopy.

"This should work," he says.

"It's freezing," June says with a shiver.

"Here," Oakley hands her a jacket out of his bag. "Are you feeling okay June?"

"Yes, I'm fine, just tired."

We all were super exhausted. It had been a long day for all of us and just looking around I could see how tired all my siblings were.

Well, of course, everyone except Oakley who looked like his normal self and was not tired at all.

"I want all three of you to go to sleep. I'll take watch and make sure there's no trouble," Oakley said sternly.

"Okay, good night guys, love you," June said and kissed me and my brother's cheek.

Janae was already half asleep so she didn't say anything.

I went and sat next to Oakley.

"I'm going to sleep now but you better wake me up later and let me take watch while you sleep. You need rest too." I told my brother just as sternly as he had spoken to us.

"That's fine, but I want you to sleep first little brother," he smirked.

I lightly punched his arm and rolled over and fell asleep.

When I woke up it was already light out.

That little bitch didn't wake me up. Damn him.

I rolled over and saw him in the same spot from last night, just looking out into space.

"Bitch, you didn't wake me up."

He turned so quickly and looked so startled.

"Oh, it's just you."

"Oakley James Price, why the hell did you not wake me up!" I yelled just to get his attention but not enough to wake the girls.

"Oops, my bad. Guess I forgot."

"Go to sleep right now," I told him.

"No Oliver, it's already morning time and we need to get going if we are going to make it to the village by nightfall."

"Well, how are we supposed to get there if you are running on no sleep for the past 24 hours!"

"I'm fine Oliver. Stop screaming before you wake the girls."

"No, in fact, I hope they wake up! So they can tell you how stupid you are being right now!"

"Now you're going to go to sleep right now for just a little bit and I will wake you when the girls wake up how about that?" I continued trying to reason with him.
