Tale of two hearts

Episode 24

Gauravi and Dev both came to Delhi. Finally, Gauravi started to move on and forgave her parents. She also disclosed the truth of her running away from her own wedding. Her parents were guilt stricken specially her mother. All things were sorted out. Dev and Gauravi again came together. All the differences came to an end. And soon both families fixed the date of their wedding too.
Meanwhile,

Gauravi was standing in the balcony. Soon she felt a pair of arms wrapping her waist and snuggling of someone. She smiled feeling dev around her.

Hmmm. So? Would be husband?

Hmmm. Would be wife.

Work done?

She asked.

Huhh.yeah. finally. I was craving since morning to see you. So i aksed vedant sir to let me come and he agreed seeing my impatience for my beloved would be wife.

She chuckled.

By the way gauri..

Hmm?

When you're starting your work?

She got stilled on his this question. Dev turned her.
Gauri listen, don't get stressed okay? I'm just asking when you're going to start. Everything is sorted no? So why you're not joining the firm again?

I still can't get over from those incidents. I don't know how to go to that place again. That firm again. I don't think I can pursue....

Have faith in yourself gauri. I love you. I'm with you. Think on this. You can't leave your career. It was your dream.

She nodded. He hugged her. He got to know now that how much those things had affected her to the core. She is willing to sacrifice her career, but afraid to face those memories again which she will if she goes to that place again.

Gauri was in her car. Dev has called her near his office. At first she denied but he said he has some plans so she was going to meet her. Soon she reached there, and found dev standing there. She got down and went to him.

Hi.

Hey hi. You come on time.

Yeah. Now what plans dev?

Wait. Getting impatient is my work. So don't be. Here take it.

He said and give her a box. And said her to close her eyes. he then took her inside his office. He knew that if he would told her to do so, she didn't so he did that way.
She entered inside his cabin still eyes closed.

Dev? Where?

Here it goes. Open you eyes.
Dev after a moment said. As she opened her eyes, she was amazed. It was the same place where all that started. But this time, not like that exactly. It was all decorated with, flowers and fairy lights. Next she found dev sitting on his knees. He had the same box in his hand which he had given to her a moment ago. Her eyes turned misty. All the office members were there, including Alisha, Vedant sir and others.

Dev...
She whispered.

Stop. Let me first. So, Gauri. This was the place where all that started. And this was the place where we parted. I know you wasn't going to come here so i had to chose other ways. And i also know that you've got all bad memories from this place that's why you're afraid to come here too. So, i decided to replace your bad memories from good ones. This place has witnessed our separation and this place is going to witness our reconciliation. So Miss Gauravi, will you marry your beloved would be husband? I know, our marriage has been fixed but still. Will you?

Dev said.
A lone tear escaped from her eyes. she nodded in a yes.

Yes..yes.. I'll marry you..dev. yess. I do.

She said and soon she was pulled in a hug. Dev made her wore the ring and hugged her.

I love you. She said.

I love you more. He said.

Then everybody congratulated them. Gauravi net vedant and alisha. They were very much happy with her come back. And soon everyone got back to their places leaving the couple alone in the cabin.
Gauri hugged dev and said.

Thank you dev. Thank you so much for giving me good memories here. For replacing those memories. I love you . I can't tell or eoxress how much you're important to me. From now on May be I'll not get afraid coming here.

I know. I love you too. I just did that for your happiness gauri. Will you joking again?

Gauri got silent for sometimes and then said..

Yes. I'll join

As soon she said , his hand got more tighten around her waist.

I know, you don't want to stay away from me even for a moment that's why you're telling me to join again.

She said and both chuckled.

Yess. I don't want to be parted from you from this day on.

He said.

Then they looked and each other with infinite love.  Gauri leaned and kissed him. So did he. There hold got more tighten as they immersed themselves in that moment. Gauri wrapped her arms around his neck and he pulled her more close by her waist.

Today they got together. The pain, endurance, separation, wait everything got ended. The power of love heal both of them. Today they both get reconcile.
