Chapter 2: Understanding

The movie finished and Rio had laughed at how seemingly bad the gore was in the movie. Whispers were heard during the duration of the movie, Anzu would have spoken up but she didn't since Rio was being annoying.

"How about we get more boba, or share a kiss, or-!" Rio was cut off once again.

"How about we just buy the chocolates and cat clothes and go home?" Anzu asked.

Rio frowned with how Anzu was not enjoying the date so they tried to get Anzu to have a good time

"I'll double the chocolates!" Rio said cheerfully.

Anzu grabbed Rio's hand and ran to the boba line.

"How could I not take that offer!" Anzu said laughing.

Rio blushed a little, though they didn't understand why.
After getting the boba, Anzu got the chocolate boba slurping it down while Rio got milk tea.

"You want some?" Anzu asked.

"... Sure!" Rio said.

Once again Rio said that they yet again had there was an indirect kiss that was shared.
Anzu realizing that she had shared her boba felt defeated for some reason.

"Well we should get going to the cat cafe, I heard there is really good food there!" Rio said.

Anzu grabbed his hand once again and walked to the cat cafe with Rio. As they walked together they saw a little girl crying with a cut on her knee.
Anzu walked over to the girl before wiping blood and rocks off with her shirt. The mom of the child ran over and thanked Anzu and they walked off.

"Why did you help her?" Rio asked.

"Well you wouldn't get it since you are heartless and probably don't know much about feelings." Anzu said.

They walked side to side to the cat cafe, Anzu walking with blood on her white dress and Rio skipping gleefully.
Rio wanted to ask questions about human emotions but he kept to himself. He didn't really understand what the big deal was about being heartless but he tried to not think much about it.
