Part 9

I have first period with Tess so she sits next to me and when she sits down Adam gets mad an tells her to move. If I was Tess I would have moved but she is strong and doesn't let people push her around. I wish I could be like her. When class starts Adam finds a new seat and I'm still trying to figure out why he is acting this way. I wait until the end of class to ask Adam why he is acting strange. When I ask him he just gets mad and we start to argue, he tells me that he doesn't want to talk to me because of what I did. I can't think of anything I did that was wrong, I'm just hurt that he is treating me like I'm a nobody. I guess I'll just have to keep asking him until he finally tells me. I find Tess and she asks me if he is always a jerk. I don't answer since he isn't always that way. When we walk to the cafeteria I get a text from Adam and I don't know how to respond to it. Tess tells me I shouldn't answer but I do anyway. His text says to meet him at the movies on Friday night , so we can talk. I decide to bring Tess just in case Brittany and her wanna be friends decide to join Adam. Four days pass and I get ready at Tess house for the movie. I don't do anything special, I just straighten my hair and wear one of my t-shirts and my black leggings. When we arrive at the theater Adam is waiting by the water fountain on his phone. I walk up to him and he waves. I ask him what we need to talk to him about and why he has been acting like such a jerk. He tells me that he trusted me and I betrayed him. I don't even know what I did. I ask him how I betrayed him and he just replies with a small sigh.
