I am running late for school! My alarm clock didn't go off, so I woke up late. My mom didn't wake me up because she was in the living room watching t.v at full volume. My room is noise-canceling, so I can't hear that much that goes on outside my room.
"Mom!" I run down the hall. "Why didn't you wake me up?"
I run into the living room. She is on the couch watching t.v. She pauses the t.v. and looks at me.
"What?"
"Why didn't you wake me up?"
"Because I thought your alarm clock would wake you up on time, but I guess it didn't."
I rolled my eyes, got my breakfast, and walked through the door. As I walk to school, I see so many happy parents playing with their children. I also see happy couples hugging each other.
