"Tanjiro?" i got taken aback, i never told her my name and I'm sure i was not that popular "how did u-" i stopped talking i stared at her confused i knew i was pretty well known by the older girls at school but i did not expect her to hear my name so soon after all it was still her first day or so Then it suddenly struck me

"oh, hello, who are you?"
"Me?"
"Yes, what is your name? I'm Tanjiro"
"i don't have a name"
"Why is that?"
" My dad did not give me one"
"oh, well, we still can be friends"
"Friends?"
"Yes!!!"
"Okay"
POV: Author/3rd person
okay, let me explain what is happening. Tanjiro and Kanao were friends when they were 7 and 8. Kanao did not have a name back then, but Tanjiro insisted on being friends, they met each other while they were both picking strawberries in the filed and met up there everyday they became friends. But around that time Kanao still lived with her abusive dad until the Kocho sisters adopted her so she had to move and They promised to look for each other when they would grow up but after years of her not returning Tanjiro forgot about her and moved himself too kanao forgot about him because she did not want to remember her past
POV: Kanao
what ? Why did i just say that ? i don't know this person but it just rolled out of my mouth. Is his name Tanjiro? But how would i know his name, it does not make sense "Im sorry i need to go my sister is expecting me" with that i left as quickly as possible...this boy brought a weird vibe with him but i did want to know him better i should not make assumptions
POV: Tanjiro
"It's her...the girl from years ago. Isn't she? She remembered my name ? After all these years...kawai" my thought where my thoughts were interrupted when i saw a book on the ground "Kanao Stuyuri" what it read i picked it up and put it fast in my backpack "Kanao?? Such a cute name" i found myself smelling the book "senpai's smell is still on it" i thought while blushing like crazy "Don't worry Kanao i will protect you"
