It was December. My family and I had just shared at wonderful Christmas with each other and my girlfriend and I were headed down to Disney to meet some friends down there for the rest of the weekend and part of the following week. Where are my manners? I'm Max. Not as tall nor strong, but don't let my size confuse you. I'm as sharp as a tack and with the things we're going lately around the country, I have a nose for mystery. Had I known what was in store, I'd be more prepared. But for now, the road to Orlando was a long one....by six hours.

When we finally reached our AirB&B, our friends Billy and Rachel had gotten there before us. "Well, well, well....look who finally showed up", said Bill with his thick Texas accent. "Howdy Billy", I said as I gave him the toughest gripped handshake we both can muster. Billy, not so much as myself, was taller than me but a few inches and had a nose for adventure. "Say, where's Rachel?", I asked. "She's in there making her famous Tater Tot Casserole.",  he said with a grin on his face. My girlfriend, Noelle, and I quickly get our luggage from the car and we all quickly get inside.

Once we were inside, Rachel greeted us with a smile and both her hands full with a casserole dish of freshly made Tater Tot Casserole. Seeing me standing there with my mouth watering, she finally said, "Well hi there Max!!! I was just telling Billy here that you were probably chomping at the bit at some of my cooking instead of that theme park food you're so fond and seeing since your mouth is pretty much a waterfall at this point, I'd say that's right on the money". After staring at the delectable bounty that feasted my eyes, I finally wiped the drool from my chin and said, "He had me at "famous ". Hi Rachel. It's great seeing you again. This is my girlfriend Noelle," I said as introduced them. "Hi", said Noelle shyly. "Max told me so much about you and Billy. Oh and Merry belated Christmas", she said trying to bring on the southern charm. "It's so lovely to finally meet you Noelle. Now you and Max go on upstairs and get settled in while we finish setting the table then Max...", she said as her tone changed ,"we need to get down to business. I'm sure my cooking isn't the only thing you've picked up". I turned and looked at her as I nod. I then turned to Noelle and said to her, "We'll explain later".
