I felt the Autumn breeze hit my face as I left my house. I stuffed my hands inside my jacket and walked down to the sidewalk, passing Liam's old house. There was a SOLD sign that was put up in the yard last week.

"I guess someone bought Liam's old house." A voice hit my ear suddenly making me jump.

"Fuck Niall! You nearly gave me a heart attack." I yelled as I continued to walk pass the houses to school with a blondie next to me.

"Oh c'mon. You'd know it was me even if you were blind! Who else has an Irish accent here?" Niall argued. He had his stupid batman backpack on one shoulder and a half eaten sandwich in the other. Where the fuck did that come from?

"How do you seriously have food with you all the time?" I asked.

"Well first of all I had to take breakfast to go and," Niall paused to take a bite of his sandwich, "second, why does it matter if I have food? It's my business and mine only." Niall continued to list many things wrong with what I said all the way to school. Which pissed me off because Niall is such a morning person. I hate it, but I never like to tell him off. Instead I zoned out thinking about more important things than food.

Liam has been all over mind since he moved. He was my neighbor for like most of my life. I miss my best friend. It's not like I don't like Niall. I'm not going to lie I love him to bits, but Liam usually can endure Niall in the mornings, now I have to try not to rip my ears out every day. I fucking hate change.

As soon as we walked into school I was completely hit with the sound of girls talking about the new gossip and the footballers talking about the game next week. I hate footballers.

"Louis see you at lunch, yeah?" Niall said as he headed his direction of first period. I nodded and went upstairs to my first class.

I sat next to Zayn who was doodling all over last weeks handout.

"Hey, isn't that due today?" I asked as I sat my backpack on the carpeted floor.

"Yeah. I was gonna do it, but I got distracted from football practice." Zayn admitted. "And I tried finishing it this morning but clearly I failed to do so,"

"Yeah I get it. You can copy off of mine, but this is the last time. I don't want to get detention again with Mr. Corden," I warned.

"Thanks bro. I don't know what I'd do without you." Zayn thanked as he took the paper and started copying.

"You'd fail." I joked, knowing it was true.

We both laughed as the tardy bell rang. I looked over at the door to see students rushing to their seat and others getting their stuff out, I followed.

Mr. Corden walked inside and spoke, "Good morning class, somewhere this week will be a new student, so give them your best welcome. Without further a do, we'll go along to today's lesson."

Mr. Corden continued the lesson as everyone whispered about the new kid arriving. It was a rare occasion for someone new to start here. No decent parent would choose this school unless it was their only choice. So people were excited but I hated new kids. They act all snobby getting attention from everyone. Also it was probably the one to bought Liam's house. So now they were going to be new my neighbor. Great.

School finally ended. I usually got a ride from Zayn after school, but I decided to just walk home. I made it home to a bunch of little ones running around everywhere. I caught Phoebe as she ran passed me.

"Lou! You're home!" She said with a burst of excitement.

"Hey Pheebs, How was your day?" I asked.

"It was fun. Mum took me and Daisy to the park and guess what!" Phoebe smiled waiting for my reply.
